Why do you need access to this much cash??

I'd be happy with an ATM limit of £20 most of the time, I use my debit card for everything.

Barclays Premier is £750, Barclays Wealth/Private Banking is whatever the ATM limit is.

You can get £600 on a HSBC card if you use the same cashpoint twice for £300 - not sure why but done it many times and never been refused.

It used to be common for most banks to offer £500 - Abbey (in the days it was National) certainly did. Gradually, for standard accounts, this was reduced to £300 or even £250. Now only niche providers (like First Direct) or premier services allow ATM withdrawals of £500 upwards.

Citibank used to be 2k for their higher level accounts, think that's dropped now though, to maybe 750?

If you have any Citi current account you can withdraw up to £10k or currency equivalent over the counter though
