Payment for Sale of overseas Holiday Home in Euros

Options
We will be selling our caravan in France at the end of September and will be bringing a cheque for 15,000 euros back to England with us. What is the best thing to do with it? I would think this will become a common question with the way things are going for home owners abroad.

Personally, i'd keep it unless you need the funds and cash it later in case rates go up! Right now it won't get you many ££££'s.....

May be better to open a Citi Euro account and bank it (or save it) in there as would be cheaper than transferring to £££'s surely?.....

Havn't you got that the wrong way around N.I.D.? The Euro is very strong against the pound, the pound is weak against almost all other currencies.;)
