PlusNet Super Fibre - No Way Back
I upgraded from standard to super fast fibre with PlusNet, just to see if it materially improved online streaming, particularly for live sport. I couldn't really discern any great benefit so I tried to revert back to the cheaper fibre option deal only to be informed by PlusNet that they do not allow such reversals. Not…

Moved house, no broadband for two months - Virgin Media keep cancelling.
We moved house on the 24th August 2020, and one of the things we knew we needed to sort out straight-away was the broadband. I am writing this thread on behalf of my mum and my brother, and we are all in the same predicament. My mum's job in the NHS involves travelling to houses around the community as a phlebotomist, and…

Can't get fibre from new supplier even though I have fibre now at same address.
With my current broadband connection I am getting 27Mbs. My contract is due for renewal soon and when checking for a better deal I am being told that the fastest connection I can get is up to 3Mbps because fibre is not available at my address. I am baffled.
