Changing ISP provider.
Could do with comments. Currently with Sky and dislike them with a passion and have been considering a move for sometime. My son asked if I would like him to transfer me over to plusnet, I said ok. He stated that plusnet would take care of contacting Sky and Talktalk (phone service) to manage the change over. I've recieved…

Sky Talk anytime does not include 0845 and 0870 numbers
When I contacted Sky they told me their talk anytime packages do not include free calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers. Virgin Media and Plus Net does include them in their packages. Have I been incorrectly informed. If not are Sky the only company not to include these numbers in their talk anytime packages

BT contract oversight
Hi I have a BT Fibre 1, Essential TV and BT Sport package. Joined about two and a half years ago on around £44.00 pm. No problems with speed or WiFi but had completely forgotten that it’s on a contract. Price increase prompted a check on the MyBT app. Can’t find contract end date but was wondering if rejoining is fairly…

BT wifi down for a week and we wirk from home - can we get any help?
BT wifi has a major fault in the area and we’re told they aim to get it fixed in a week. We are self employed and work from home. We haven’t been eligible for any covid government business grants. What help can we get? BT suggested we buy/upgrade to a Halo account but won’t send one for us to use whilst they fix the…

FTTP issues
I’m at my wits end. Working from home with slow internet speeds... signed up to BT broadband on the 28th July for FTTP. Only BT and Sky offer it in our area. Now it’s the 6th October and I’ve sat in all morning waiting for an engineer to arrive to be told by BT that open reach had a system issue and the engineer never got…

Broadband Cashback and when the order is cancelled and reinstated
Hi guys, Would like some advice... - Last year I applied for an emerican express card with some cashback at the account opening. Short story, the card was declined. Shell Broadband compensation
Shell Broadband are one of the rogue companies not part of the Ofcom compensation scheme. I'm trying to find out how much compensation I might get out of them. I was without broadband and landline services for a whopping 76 (yes, seventy six!) days. Under the scheme, I'd be due 76x £8 plus 2x £25 (two engineers didn't turn…

My internet hasn't worked since Saturday 3rd October. Called BT on 4th October and they could not diagnose the fault and said they needed to send an engineer. Their earliest appointment is Thursday 15th October! I work from home and this is going to cause me some real pain. I want to know what compensation BT would be…

Fttp service providers
Mine is a newish- build house with FTTP. The default broadband supplier cannot provide a functioning landline, so I want to change. One problem with Moneysavingexpert is that it fails to distinguish between Fast Fibre and FTTP, which is full fibre to the house. Fast Fibre still requires the copper wire end link. There are…

Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) provider?
Just moved into a new housing estate that is fibre only and digital phones (no phone points). Just found out it's called Fibre to the Premises (FTTP). Just wondering whether there's a cheaper provider than BT?
