Goodbye BT
Finally got around to leaving BT. An aborted attempt at switching my BB provider (different company), meant that they cancelled the BT DD because they were going to take over the phone line. Just got the bill through and the line rental is best part of £20pm, don't ask, we don't have any add ons, it just seems higher than…

Plusnet Broadband
I have had my plusnet broadband activated today and my speed is 11mb and the package is broadband unlimited. My question is do they moniter the first months usage and decide if you are a heavy user or a light user and if you are a heavy user they may turn down your speed ie from 11mb to 5mb.

Have to run a line over our neighbours' fence
Hi all, After several engineer visits, it turns out that our property doesn't actually have a phone line. BT quoted us almost £8k(!) to get one installed- we poiltely declined. One of the Openreach engineers helpfully suggested that we get permission from our neighbours to run a cable along their fences, which would mean…

EE BB - Don't do it!
Fuming with EE! With their deal - cheap BroadBand and an Amazon gift voucher, I transferred from Sky to EE. I only knew when I was being transferred from Sky to EE as Sky advised - no communication what so ever from EE - just the router sent in the post. On the day Sky BB ended and EE was due to start, landline only, no…
