Lendable and DMP
Hi Everyone! I have lurked on here for some time and managed to get some fantastic advice. Bit of background (as brief as possible): Got into lots of financial trouble because of a failed business back in 2022. Had a loan from Lendable at the time and because of the amount of debt I was in (over £30,000) I moved to a DMP…

What to do…
I’m in approx 70k of debt. I have been looking at a dmp and have mentioned this to my partner, however she is not keen. She thinks it may affect my position in regard to an opportunity with the company I work with. The risk as far as I can see it is if I get credit checked however that won’t be pretty without a dmp if…

Lendable Debt Payment
Hi All, I currently owe £3400ish to Lendable. I probably made quite a few mistakes with my approach with them. The original agreement was £110 but due to circumstances I wasn't able to maintain that past the first few months. I've been paying them £36.66 per month for the past 4 or so years with no interest as agreed by…

Good evening folks, I did post in the DMP thread but figured this is possibly worth having my own thread for, so here goes. Hi, im in such a pickle. I was barely making ends meet when my dog got a serious lifelong illness and the vets bills have put me in a serious debt spiral I don't see an end to. Confused....Stopping debt payments before starting DMP?
Hello I was very close to "pulling the trigger" and starting a DMP with StepChange. But then I saw I should just stop paying my non priority debts for several months, allow them to default, then start a DMP? I understand this is to build up a fund of money before entering a DMP. All my debts are credit cards and personal…
