Number #37 - I have tidied down the CA to the nearest £1k now the last of the DD has gone out. It still has some of my retirement TFLS nesting there. I have added this to the mortgage account so reduced by another £923 (quite a tidy!) so my Feb total is now £21,384.19.

I cannot imagine I will find any more, but I shall keep looking. I do so hate the plodding stage in the month when we are still over a week from pay day and all the payments have gone and there is just nothing happening. I think it evoked a boredom response in me!

Gosh fab overypayments people! My tax refund has just come from the tax office so I looked at that and then rounded my mortgage down which seems to be a nice approach :-)

Oh and realised I could put it on a credit card, so I'll gain interest in my current account for a bit longer!

    Overpayment of £1771.29

    Feb total: £2771.29
    2019 target: £2771.29/£12000

Mortgage balance should now be £37K

I'm now trying to decide how much to put in savings vs mortgage. How do other people decide? Obviously when I pay off my mortgage that money is 'gone' as in I can't get it in an emergency!

No. 7 here checking in with an overpayment of £155 for Feb. Don't think we'll manage any more overpayments this month, but at least we're on target so far :)

    Number 160 here.
Just tried to do an OP of £65.90, but I have used all my OP limit this year.
Probably don't put in a table yet, will see how it goes. May be they will call me, who knows?
Looking forward to April when I can overpay again.
    P.S. Can I have a smaller number too? :)

#106 here. £78 paid into the mortgage account today to shave the outstanding balance to a more or less round number - now ends in a xxx250.00.

I have also worked out that at this rate for both MFW and savings that I should be able to achieve mortgage neutrality in about 29 months and in time for my 45th birthday. Appreciate a lot can happen in life between now and then but it seems a good current target to aim for. Thanks,

    February total: £1,588
    2019 total: £3,088 / £15,000
