Evening ladies:hello: I'll not list names as I'm bound to forget someone!
It's gone ok so far today. I did stuffed mushrooms with garlic and herb potatoes for tea and I'm to stuffed to have any pud

There are some yummy sounding recipies in my new books so I think I'll try some of them as of next week as I'll need to do a bit of shopping.......wrong time of the month really, 2 weeks to pay day  but you have to try things out when you get new cookery books don't you?

Frogga - Patience is a virtue! You're as bad as my OH, he planted some seeds on Saturday and has been examining them every half hour saying "they haven't grown yet"  I bet by the time the seeds pop up you'll have lost a few pounds!

Shame about the weekly thread, although we are saving money really 'cos we're not paying out for WW, SW, RC etc :money:

    See you tomorrow ladies :A

    Evening everyone.

Forgot to mention yesterday that I had also been to the gym and went today again. Just go on the rowing machine and treadmill. In March I will join for a year as I get half price. Works out at £2 odd a week.

    Today Ive had.
    Breakfast Porridge and a banana.

    Lunch Roast Chicken and veg.

Snack Milky Way! Naughty I know.

Evening Meal 2 poached eggs on two slices of wholemeal bread.

    Keep going everyone. good Luck!

Dont binge Frogga you are doing well.

Ooh don't do it Frogga. I'm on the wrong side of the binge tonight and it's not worth it. :o

Not sure what happened today but whatever it was its over. I ate:

    Readybrek
5 big pieces of HM bread with blackcurrant jam
Lots of chocolates (at least 10)
Big handful of fruit and nuts
1/2 HM chicken and veg pie (with no extra vegetables)

Okay, so thats that done. Fessed up, drawn a line under in and now away to have a cuddle on sofa with OH and start a fresh tomorrow.
Twas a pain in the bum but not the end of the world. ;)

Oh and my anniversay present from inlaws was the biggest box of belguim chocolates I have ever seen. DS1 and 2 have now taken possession of them so I shan't see those again. (Thank goodness) 20 years of marriage and I've never been given chocs before... why, oh why now???

Hope you're all doing great, sure you are. :D

    Hello everyone

I haven't had a chance to read all the pages in this thread yet but I do need to do something about my weight without blowing the budget so I guess this is the place for me!

I now weigh more than I did when I was full term pregnant with my DS(17 years ago) so definately could do with joining in the Valentine day challenge to start me off gently. Will go to Boots and weigh myself on their super duper sacles/BMI measurer and will report back and exactly what my starting weight will be.

Thanks for being there guys, I'm OK ~ the moment has passed :T I tricked myself into saying that if I don't do it tonight I'll have a really good binge tomorrow, but I'm not going to really :shhh:

I used to use a binge, or a pig-out as I prefer to call it, as an excuse to throw the towel in for the whole week. I would stuff myself senseless for the rest of the week and wait until the next Monday to 'start again' - for some reason, this could only happen on a Monday. Ha! - Fool.

Now, forgive me for getting all spiritual on you, but when I slip off the wagon (so often, I would have to wear padded clothing if it wasn't for the spare padding I just happen to have) I force myself to read this over and over until I bore myself into submission and get up the next day and start afresh..

'Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense' (Ralph Emerson)
