Due on April 20th frogga.

Pilates was very good, felt like I was getting stronger by the second. Baba was leaping about the whole way through it. :D

Checked my weight and only put on 4 pounds rather than the stone I was imagining so feeling a bit better now!

I think I've just got to keep reminding myself that food is not a way to entertain myself. :o I also think that I've got to get that negative fear out of my head that, 'i've lost 2 weeks running, but it's gonna all go wrong soon." :o

Try a nice deep bubble bath, paint your nails, a face mask. A new hobby, cross stitch, knitting, reading - it is difficult to eat when you have something else in your hands.

Concentrate on small targets, not the whole picture. After all the Sistine Chapel was not painted in a day, or probably even a couple of years.

I think we all have that negative feeling at some point, but small rewards for losses will help. I aim to put a £1 in the pot for every lb lost, at the end of each stone it will pay for a manicure, or some makeup.

Gilly

MrsM that's it you have done it I'm ordering my first cross stitch for years, honestly I used to do lots and also cake decorating until I had carpel tunnel and since the op I've not dared to go back as I know how addictive it can get!
Orpheus as a greeting 'Yo sex goddess' works for me!
Alibow I'm with you on the yukky Batenburg- what are they thinking.
Two weeks now and I think I'm doing well, I have a weigh in on Thursday
However I am swimming twice a week, salsa dancing once a week and also doing a weekly ramble(walking not composing this post!)

• Hello All! :o

Back after 2 days in the hospital with DS. I actually ate OK. Took some fruit, water and healthy sandwiches with me.

We now have 12 more days of IV antibiotics at home, which is much better than being stuck in hospital. It also means I can't have any wine (which should be good for weightloss) I have v. early morning and late night IVs to do and can't be tispy in charge of meds and syringes! ;)

This morning I had cheap hospital coffee for breakfast, cheap hospital coffee for lunch, and have just had a wholgrain pitta bread with guacamole and salad now I'm back home.

Have no idea what I'm having later, just know it isn't hospital food! :D

Hope everyone is well (and not eating hospital food either!)

CD xx

Hi All,

What a lot of posts to catch up on.

I've had a good day so far. I decided that I needed to cut back a bit further so have decided to start drinking my coffee black. I am not particularly enjoying it yet but am determined to perservere as I know from past experience that you can change tastes. I used to drink gallons of Diet Coke till I decided it was bad for me. I now don't like the taste at all, although I do have the odd ordinary Coke if I am going out as I don't particularly like alchoholic drinks.

Breakfast: Muesli mixed with fruit and fibre, raisins and skimmed milk. Small glass of pineapple juice.

Lunch: 3 crackers with smearing of butter and small piece of Camembert, tomato and banana.

Snack: orange

Tea: Am planning a small portion of pasta with bacon, mushroom and a spoonful of low fat cream cheese stirred in.

I've been trying to think what are my good points and I actually like most of myself, just not the stomach. I think my eyes, hair and smile are probably my best bits.

Keep up the good work everyone,

Rose

Had a quick nosy in MrT's yesterday, & I'm pleased to see they are beginning to do tinned pulses in just water. I don't like the idea of brine SIZE=1]even tho me tuna comes in it cuz sunflower oil is sooooo slippery

To prevent a tongue-lashing from The Green One;) , my positive is I am interested people & what they have to say....unless they are a politician:rotfl: :rotfl:

Just heard back from Gingham about having a weekly weight loss thread. Unfortunatly it's a "no go" as it is not strictly a money saving thread. Never mind it's not Ginghams fault so better not moan at her please ;)
