    Morning All,

What a lovely day it is here already :j Gonna be another hot one I think. I LOVE the hot weather when the sun is on your back, it really lifts the mood.

Sending possitive vibes to those not doing so well. It's so tough when you cant get your head round it. I wobbled a bit last night and thought about having some crumpets, however I knew that would be the start of it. I would then stuff, and carry on today and tomorrow and then I'd think about starting again at the beginning of March :o Just know if I give up now it will be all over for me until I can muster up enough enthusiasm to start again , which would be months

SO I'll keep plodding on , looking forward, and wait to see how it's all been going on March 3rd (WD)

Having a really lovely week with the Tadpoles, being very lazy watching films and stuff :D

Hope you all have a good day, keep your chin up if you are struggling and just keep coming on and posting , it will sink in eventually ;)

This is good advice for many aspects of life.

Don't beat yourself up if you slip. OK, you slipped, it's done, and it's gone.

If you beat yourself up, or start on a guilt trip - it's only a short step to head back into comfort eating and the whole merry go round starts again.

Lots of people find it difficult to forgive themselves.

I look at it this way:-

If I would forgive a friend for a slip - then I can forgive myself for it too.

If a friend would forgive me for a slip - then I can forgive myself too.

    Morning one and all :D

Back from the shops...1.5hrs walking crossed off and i feel very :j for some reason:confused: ... think its just the fresh air and the weather...the last couple of days we have got up to it being all frosty n white over, but its still lovely out there -really bright, although the nip in the air about froze my snozzle off...
still im back in the warm now, and am planning on getting some more seeds planted today....I stopped off at the garden centre on the way back and got some more peat pots and some funny jobbies that i don't know the name of :rotfl: about the size of a £2 coin and you put water on them and the swell up and you stick 1 seed in as its like compacted peat -instead of growing in pots... i have sent mum loads as they are soooo expensive in the UK apparently :p so planting here i come...i we don't get shed loads of veggies out the pots n garden this year -it won't be for the lack of trying:rotfl: ooooh and mum sent me some butternut squash seeds :j as i was trying to think of stuff that will keep well in the basement for the later months..hoping to freeze as much as possible!

    Well back to food :p
    • I haven't had any brekkie yet
    • lunch will be krisprolls with cream cheese i think
    • and dinner is steamed potatoes, salad and im going to grab some king prawns out of the freezer nomnomnom ;)
Whilst walking round the supermarket today, i had an urge for "something nice"... it happens when i don't have brekkie -but at least i now know that its not something "nice" i want.. its just that my body is hungry -something that used to be an alien concept to me:rotfl: , in the end the "something nice" was 2 organic avocados (cheaper than the normal ones @ €1.99 for 2) and a net of red grapefruits  ..don't think i will do much damage with those:rotfl: but its what i really fancied ...

Managed to get another top on out of the wardrobe :j -that has NEVER fit :o .. if i managed to squish it over my head and pull it down far enough it used to squash my assets flat  , and now its fine -no squashed assets, and non of those lines in the fabric where its stretched too tight, and its not very long -but no belly escaping below it..plenty hidden behind it..but non on show :rotfl:

You should see all the easter stuff out here  not only loads of eggs, bunnies, chicks etc in choc, but baskets n things to fill and wrappers that you place around proper egss n boil so they look pretty... there is absolute shed loads... but as yet not many of the mars, sniker type eggs we are used to...and loads of crafty things to do and make too...god you go nuts out here if you had kids..

Come on Taplady..you can do it :T will keep our pinkies crossed...hope you have your lightest clothes ready...don't worry about getting cold -you will be fine :p no jewellery, glasses etc... this pesky last lb can't stay...you will get it ;)

Well done frogga -seem to be saying that a lot lately :j ..keep it at it Mrs, and have a lovely day with the tadpoles :D

Alibow -don't beat yourself up... we all have days like that... you have the right idea..just write it off and start again:T .
I know what you mean about families.. i love mine to bits but when i lived at home i do believe me n mum could have quite happily shoved each other downstairs on many an occasion :rotfl: yet now - i phone her most days for a chat, and don't get me started on me and 1 sis  -yet now..we all have our own homes and get on like a house on fire :T . hope you manage to get a job abroad... will do you the world of good and give you all some breathing space ;)

right i had better get off.... and if i lose this post again i will swear  -yep frogga its hapening to me loads too... thts why i didn't post last night the damn thing lost my post twice before i gave up.

Anyway...fingers crossed for those weighing in later -you know who you are;)
have a great day everyone..and keep up the good work :D

    Morning all.

    Well done frogga.

I love this weather when it's still cold and really bright and sunny - like a promise of summer days to come :D

Feeling ok today - more lavender tea last night - OH says me drinking it has meant he sleeps better as I don't toss and turn all night ;) Really didn't realise how badly I'd been sleeping till I had a proper night's sleep :o

    Breakfast was porridge
Lunch is ham and cheese rolls
Tea is pork joint covered in mustard (in slow cooker) with veg and gravy.

Snacks have been some of those Maoam sweets :o
Other snacks will be red apple, green apple ;)

Mrs M, frogga - if the system loses my post and I retype it, then just before I click to post it, I copy it all to clipboard -

Click inside the box where your post is
then click Ctrl and the letter a - which will highlight the whole post
then click Ctrl and the letter c (or right-click and choose copy) - which will copy it to the "clipboard"

    Then post your reply.

If the system loses it, go back to an empty reply box and press Ctrl and v - or right click with the mouse and choose paste and your post will reappear for you to try and post again.

This only words as long as you don't try and copy anything else in between as your post will only stay in the clipboard memory till you try and copy summat else - so you can only do this with one post at a time - if that makes sense?

Morning folks :hello: I'm feeling really positive today :j I've got my 'free' pedometer on and it tells me I've done 3000 steps already and the only 'walking' I've done is from the carpark, the rest of it has been up and down the corridors in work :j
I'm being really good today, I had scrambled eggs and mushrooms on dry toast for brekkie, I should be on a free buffet lunch today but I've brought an egg and potato salad with me and some fruit and I've already told people I won't be taking lunch from the buffet :T :T *polishes halo*

I've got a yoghurt to have before my dance class tonight  and an aubergine and chickpea stew out of the freezer to warm up when I get home.

Taplady - good luck for the WI :T you'll do it today!

Frogga - take care in the sun , that nice man on your uncle's programme said you'll dry out in the sun so slip, slap, slop ;)

Well done to all the losers  and :grouphug: to those who are struggling, don't worry, we'll all get there eventually it's just that some of us prefer the scenic route

    See you later folks :A
