feeling abit stressed-1st weigh in tomorrow-at the docs, been just over a month, nurse weighed me as dead on 14 stone, about a week later, i got some digi scales and was 13st 14 oz..now i'm coming up as about 13st 7oz (was 13st 5 on saturday, up abot today), worried i'll have somehow not lost weight when i go tomorrow!Budget for Jan/Feb £240 per 4 weeks
Week 1-£52  Week 2-£75
Week 3-£60.66Week 4-£29.98 Total=£217.58
w/c 18th Feb: £6.500 -
Hi Jayarr
Don't panic... it will only make you feel more tempted to eat
The doctors won't be expecting you to hop on the scales and have dropped 3st.. they would much rather you go nice n steady, they know you are more likely to keep it off that way:D
You will be fine... thats the worst thing about scales -they never agree , and can soon have you panicing or disappointed
Im sure you will be back here tomorrow wondering what the panic was about.... YOU WILL BE FINE..shall keep my piggies crossed
MHE -well done on that loss :j - next time you shop, pick up 3 packs of lard and imagine that stuck to your bum..then you will feel much better...

Thanks for that revoulting thought MRSM!! Trouble is when you have half a shelf of lard stuck on your bum, hips and tum 3 off is nothing(Better than 3 on i know )
Target loss 42 lbs Lost 4.5 lbs
So only another 37.5 lbs to go !;)"With no money you start to discover your own inner resource" GK Chesterton2 adults, 3 children0 -
You'll get their MhE. it sounds so much at first but just break it into little targets.
I've got 7 stone to lose    but am just focussing on my aim to drop 1 stone by March 1st. When and if that is achieved, I'll focus on another small milestone. Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -

Well done to those who have lost:T charlie'smum - good luck for your SW weigh-in!;)
I was doing well untill last night when we had a meal out at work and I was starving so had a veggie all day breakfast:eek: 2 eggs, beans, tomato, chips, deepfried mushrooms and a caerphilly cheese and leek burger plus a slice of bread and butter!:D on the plus side I left half the chips, mushrooms and also left some of the egg(just had the yolks). Need to do some exercise today and eat sensibly I think!
Food plans for today
porridge
cake:j At the WI with Mum
low cal sandwich of some sort
jacket spud with tuna.
low fat yoghurt and fruit.
have a good day all!:wave:Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Well im very pleased with myself this morning, last night I had quite a bit of energy so when I got home I made myself a soup in the slowcooker. I threw in lots of bits from the freezer and some fresh bits that needed using up. In the end is was spinach, swede, celeriac, yellow pepper, tinned toms, chicken stock, courgette, brocolli, mushrooms, onion and lentils and to it I added garlic, seasoning and herbs. It smelt lovely this morning when I blitzed it and it made 4 decent portions. It was a lovely swamp green/brown colour!
Ive also mixed some honey smoked mackerel with low fat creme friache and got oatcakes too for my lunch - thanks MrsC for the inspiration the mackerel tastes lovely!!
So today for me is:
b - muesli and skimmed milk
l - mackerel pate, oatcakes, yoghurt and granola.
d - hm veg soup with 2 granary rolls.
snacks-smoothie, grapes, 2 oat biscuits, 2 squares dark choc
Good luck to all today. Would appreciate any other slow cooker or soup advice if anyone has any, im definately a convert to the sc now:D0 -

Will treat myself to one glass of wine later. It's my first SW weigh-in tomorrow, and I think I might be the first person ever to put on weight in my first week
I will confess tomorrow - do you think it's too late to have my hair cut, and how much do you think it would weigh :rotfl:
I've known a few people put on in their first week.......me included!!
