Hi! Not been posting on here as meals somewhat erratic lately, having spent time with family sorting out Mum's funeral arrangements etc - but am delighted to see that I've lost 3lbs in the past two weeks! I was dreading finding out I was back to square 1 but in total have now lost 8lbs over five weeks. Not spectacular, but going the right way!! Need to go back and read now, to find some more yummy recipes from you lot....

    Think twice before spending anything!

    Hi everyone,

Well, I wasnt so good after dinner last night, but, I was better than I have been recently.

I tend to binge especially whenever I get down about something, and yesterday I was feeling down (well have been for quite a while now), but, I tried not to let it get me down too much, and it worked.

have been very good today. Had Branflakes for breakfast with semi skimmed milk, then for lunch, I had a pitta bread (not HM im afraid) with gammon, tomato, onion and cucumber, then a low fat yogurt. Then I had 1 digestive biscuit and a slice of HM fruit loaf.

    B U T...........

    then I had 4 biscuits:embarasse :embarasse :embarasse .

Im going to try to be good for the rest of the evening. For dinner I made the kids cheese & onion pastries (cooked from scratch), and I think I might have a little bit with some beans and HM bread.

The challenge for tonight will be to stay away from the biscuits.

However, on a lighter note I did go for a walk today with the kids, i think it might have been about 2 miles, and my legs were killing me when I got back.

Hopefully, I will be able to resist the call of the chocolate later.

    Jackie

Just lost another post  and it was really funny! Don't feel like being funny again now as I'm too cross ~ AGAIN! Think someone is trying to send me into the cupboard!

What I was talking about was weigh day  , as the original gang members will tell you I really hate weigh day. I ALWAYS end up having a binge , no matter how much I loose. In September when we started I lost 17 lb and I was really cheesed off that it wasn't more  I think it's because I feel so much thinner , then when I get on the scales and they say , " nope , you're still really fat mate" it's so depressing :o

I am splitting my weigh days into dates that I can easily weigh at work. The first one will be March 3rd which is a Monday. Then I'll miss one at the beginning of April as It's the Easter Hols so no work. The next weigh day will be May 1st. I like to see a big loss, can't be doing with the odd 1 lb here and there. Especially as some scales say different things depending on where in the room you put them  Then I'll weigh again after 1/2 term and then once more before the 10 week summer holls at the beginning of July. Then I'll get the last little bit off and amaze all my work mates when I get back to work in September , that's the plan anyway :D

My original post (the one that the gremlins ate) said a huge well done to the loosers :T You're keeping me going :A

Have a good evening all, post again in the morning x

I could almost have wrote that!!! After my first few days I felt much thinner and at the end of my first week I braved the scales to find.......... absolutely nothing! No change at all.

That was last Wednesday and you can guess the rest! Have been eating all sorts ever since, but today I want to get back on the wagon. I would like to try never weighing myself and as I have spent a depressing afternoon trying on too tight clothes, I might try on a pair of those every week or two instead, what do you think?
  • Well, I've been really good today, but it may be too little, too late

B 1 slice wholemeal toast & boiled egg
L Ham salad & low fat yogurt
D Jacket potato and beans and an apple

Will treat myself to one glass of wine later. It's my first SW weigh-in tomorrow, and I think I might be the first person ever to put on weight in my first week :o

I will confess tomorrow - do you think it's too late to have my hair cut, and how much do you think it would weigh :rotfl:
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D

    Good luck for tomorrow

    Evening everyone :D

Had the chicken, steamed potatoes, carrots, broccolin n peas for dinner -and that chicken was nom nom nom :p
Have taken the rest of the meat off... have 2 drumstick/thigh portions, some of the breast and other white meat -enough for another meal each and then the darker meat which will make another meals for us -stuffed into tortillas :T so that will be 4 meals each plus the carcass is now stock, which i will turn into soup tomorrow for hubby:D

Think tomorrow, instead of having a walk out (as there is nothing i need) i may spend the day planting more seeds, and may even get the lawn mower out if its dry enough...oohh and i need to clean the windows too -extra exercise and fresh air :j

Nothing much happening here at the moment..so i will get off and twiddle my thumbs :rotfl:

Well done on the losses folks..and hugs to those fighting demons ;)
good luck for anyone weighing in tomorrow -keep up the good work everyone:T
