Tea is in the slow cooker - chicken veg and jar of sweet thai chilli or something
Well done to all the losers. I have to say the scales always vary alot but this week have noticed I have several skirts and trousers that I can't wear anymore (the waist slips down and shows my nickers - not the big pants style ones either - and some will slip down all the way!).
So new clothes on the list soon thenworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
mikey-thanks for the recipe-how many potatoes would you say you use? If im feeling up for it I might make that on friday and freeze.
Morning all,
In this recipe, I would say about 6 the size of your fist, bear in mind I have average male hands.
Diet took a bit of a battering last night, only day one, how can that happen. SIL had made a cooked dinner for tea, as she was round looking after DD. It seemed ungrateful to refuse, so I just ate the meat and veg mins potato. Back to day 1 of diet again today.
Hopefully no one will have brought me any chocolate or cake, that I will feel guilty not eating!!!
I had a plan..........its here somewhere.0 -

Hi all,
Quick post today -
Ate appallingly last night (pizza, ice cream, popcorn, crisps and chocolate peanuts) but enjoyed it all! Husband way away for the first time ever so i stayed up stupidly late watching films and tv
Taken a look at bank balance today - overdrawn much more than expected, so a bit frustrated but will keep plodding on. Really want to be slimmer and debt-free but i know it doesnt happen overnight (or if you keep eating junk!:o)
Planning to have a relaxed day today - make a quick meal plan for the week, take the wee man to playgroup, pop into town on the bus to run some errands. Husband should be home around 3 so planning a nice romantic evening for the 2 of us :kisses2:
Good luck to anyone weighing in today xxBack and ready to save some money!0 -

You can usually get a replacement quarterlight window from a breakers yard/scrap yard if you know someone who is able to fit itMuch cheaper than a brand new one that way

Morning Everyone,
Feeling alot better today, have banished the nasty food cravings to the back on my mind.
Didnt have a breakfast this morningcos I was too busy. Ive just had "brunch" which was 2 slices of HM fruit loaf with butter, and a cup of tea and im stuffed.
Will prob have a kiwi fruit & a yogurt later on.
For dinner tonight, I plan to have spicy chicken with veg, and maybe a little mashed potato.
Going badminton tonight with SIL. She has me running from one end of the court to the other, and im knackered at the end of it, but, its worth it.
I havent weighed myself for a good few weeks, and I wont be surprised if I have put on, infact, Im going thinking ive put on with what ive eaten, so, i might need to change my target to lose more than 14lbs, but, I will update later tonight or tomorrow.
Yesterday I made HM fruit loaf, cos my lot love fruit loaf, and I have to say I will never buy another fruit loaf again. But I just wanted to ask do you think the calories/fat content in HM stuff is the same, more or less than shop bought stuff? My slices of bread are bigger than the shop ones, but, it doesnt have all those additives in them, and I can see exactly how many eggs sugar etc im putting in mine, and do you think this goes the same for other HM food?
ive always bought myself different stuff from the rest of the family purely because I was buying myself low fat stuff, but, the family were getting full fat stuff expecially the kids. Im just wondering if I should buy low fat stuff for all the family, or just buy the full fat and I just have smalled portions because they will fill me up more. What do you think?

Jackie - I think it depends on the product. There are a few pitfalls with "diet" food
- fat may be lower but sugar higher
- taste may be compromised ( I would rather have half a nice tasting cake than a whole horrible one!)
- they might have more additives such as sweetener
- the quantities might be different (crisps for example in some cases are in smaller bags hence the reduction in calories:rolleyes: )
I only buy a few diet things, croissants is one as they taste no different but are much lower in fat and secondly is butter because I cant cut down the quantity I eat and its only a treat when I have it!!0
