been to the docs to be weighed, lost 2 kilos in a month..4 and a half pounds..am v disappointed, but at least it was a loss not a gain!

    so far today
B-cornflakes, coffee (skimmed milk, sweetener), orange juice and a banana
L-salmon and cucumber sandwich on wholemeal bread, tiny bag of crisps
    D-chilli and jacket potato

Don't be disappointed Jayarr - you're right, it is coming off and it looks like it's coming off healthily judging by your menu plan. ;)

I've lost weight quickly in the past but I've not done it through eating properly or sensibly sometimes. This time it's slower but I'm enjoying my food and I'm feeling really well. Speeds not everything, even tho we can be an impatient lot. :D

Well, DH been gathering prices for this rotten car window and we'll be seeing no change out of £100. Half the breakers couldn't even help. Oh well. Total bummer but there you go.

Good thing is that I haven't hit the fridge... not even thought of it. There's a first.

    Welcome Dreaming. :D

Kraftykat - we went throught something similar with one of our sons and it is exhausting, I do sympathise. I was at the end of my tether.
Hope they get it sorted out and you get some help with LO.
BTW he's fine now despite the fact they suggested mild autism. He just gradually changed so his behaviour must have been down to other factors. Who knows?
Boy I ate my way through some nightmare days back then. Glad I've learnt how to cope a bit better now.

Away to watch a film with DH. Take care everyone and avoid those evening munchies. ;)

    Evening ladies
Doing ok today, I had a packet of snackajacks at afternoon break - I wasn't particularly hungry but we've been working soooooo hard  My job is quite physical and we've been liftin n shiftin stuff all day  I made stuffed mushrooms with garlic potatoes for tea and will have a yoghurt in a bit.

My free pedometer from the Times arrived today (courtesy ofMSE) so I'll set it up in a bit, it will be interesting to see how far I walk in work in a day - it's felt like miles today

Newlywed - I used to buy myself a t-shirt or something as soon as I got paid (pay yourself first) and then something else if I had anything left later in the month.

MrsM - Don't know about a frugal diet, he'll be down the road with his belongings in a spotted hanky if he does it again :angry::angry:

I've only lost 4lbs since before christmas.. and I'm really disappointed as well.. BUT it IS a loss.. and it isn't coming back!!!

They do reckon the slower it comes off the more likely it is to stay off (yeah yeah.. whatever.. I'll believe you!) so you never know!!

JAYARR - dont they say if it comes off slowly it is more likely to stay off? You dont want to lose loads and be dead pleased and then put it all back on when you eat one scone or something. Nice and slow wins the day.:T :T :T

Evening all. Well I've been absolutley rubbish today! Started off well with porridge and raisins before going to the dentist then it all went down hill from then. Had a driving lesson at twelve so too early for lunch but I was starting to get peckish (still couldn't feel half my mouth tho  ) anyway grabbed a couple of chocolate digestives to keep me going. Came in from my lesson had stuck a chicken and mushroom slice in the oven then munched down a packet of hula hoops whilst that cooked. Scoffed a few more biscuits throughout the afternoon. Had a big plate of HM chilli and rice for tea then a bowl of triple chocolate ice cream for pud (that was a little bowl tho cos mum gave up trying to dig the ice cream out of the tub!) So all in all I've rather stuffed myself today. Quite impressed that I didn't stuff more this evening tho as had a big argument with sis and her (idiot) BF at dinner time. Resulted in her stomping off to eat dinner in her room and me declaring that if I'm that much hassle I'll go live with my dad and they can run round after themselves  Have decided that I am utterly sick of living back home (I love my family to bits but my god do they drive me insane to live with!) so currently trying to find a summer job abroad somewhere as its the only way I can afford to get out of here. Also I loose weight so easily when I'm travelling :D

Anyhoo, enough ranting and rambling from me. Tomorrow is another day. Plan on clearing off my bookshelf (serious mission as I could probably open my own library with the books I have) and seeing what I can sell on amazon/ebay, that should keep my fingers out of the biscuit barrell most of the day! G'night.

Edit: Opps. Sorry Frogga. Nicked the top spot ;)
