Great to see you on here Donny gal
How ya doing matey? Good luck with MrsM valentines day challenge, I now gonna put that in my siggy.
MrsM ~ I will REALLY try to have a little something if I want it. I dont eat meat as yoou all know and no butter or cheese. I'm tea total so it's not booze I can blame. My problem is sweerts and ChocolateOnce I have some sweets I eat the whole packet. My absolute BESTEST are Cadburys Creme Eggs, and they aren't even Vegan so that's even worse ! If I eat them not only am I a greedy piggy , I'm a greedy hypocrit piggy!
I've already had loads!! but no more! They are not suitable for veggies and I WILL not compromise on my beliefs ! I WILL NOT ! well, I'll really try no to
Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hi again,
Well, I did manage to sleep ok after the extra 5 hours in bed so obviously must have needed it. I don't think it was the black coffee Mrs M, as I it is made with decaffeinated Gold Blend and I actually had fewer coffees than if I'd been drinking my usual ones made with skimmed milk.
Not had breakfast yet but it will be the usual skimmed milk on muesli etc with a small glass of pineapple juice. Not sure about the other meals yet.
Hi DG - I'm in Spain too (until end of April) but a bit further down from you, near Gibraltar. I am hoping to lose 2 stone before we go back.

Start again today. Does anyone know where Will Power is today?????
Muesli for brekkie, Hummus and Dr Kargs crispbreads for lunch.....I might go to the salad bar in the refectory to get something to pad it out a bit. I've got fruit with me for the pangs. Tea will be Cauldron sausage, mash and cabbage.

Wishing you all a lovely day.0 -
Morning all.
Saved money today in Sainsburys by walking past the cake I knew I'd eat all of, walking past the croissants (that I'd eat a whole pack of) and passed all the yummy things and bought salad, tomatoes and grapes and then walked for 5 more bus stops before I caught the bus to workThat's my walking done for the day.
Breakfast was porridge with figs (moneysaving as it's not as expensive as the junky cereal I used to eat before that never filled me up).
Snacks are an apple. HM flapjack, grapes and dried figs.
Lunch is soup and bread (no marge) - (would have spent £4 on an unhealthy filled baguette and crisps/chocolate).
Tea is HM chilli from the freezer.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Morning all,
Well done Frogga on avoiding the pigout. :T And thanks to those that sent encouraging words about my own 'blip'. Was appreciated.
Orpheus - Emerson's words were very inspirational and will be c & p'ed and kept with me. The guy talks sense.
Taplady & Caterina - hope your weigh ins go really well today. Oh and Caterina, you weren't late, anniversary is today, just presents arriving early.20 years for you, too Taplady, didn't we do well.
Rockie - seems like me and you were playing the same game with the HM bread and jam last night. I don't even like jam.
And Kitty - couldn't agree more with you about the money saving element about this thread. The diet industry has bled me dry for 30 years with their classes, mags, bars, drinks, pills, sweets, exercise hours, equipment. Well no more. Now I do it my way through logic, support without a money incentive and exercise like my grandma had. I'll draw on every tip, recipe, encouragement and comfort I can get from this board and get my revenge on those 'experts' that made me think I was the fat failure. HUH! (no offence to those using any of those methods, and loving them.)
Goodness I'm in fighting spirit today. Best get the housework done while my dandas up. :rolleyes:AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

Morning Everyone.
Weigh day and Ive lost a pound. Im pleased with that as it means Im moving in the right direction.
I do walk a lot its about 20 mins walk to daughters. She lives next to the hospital where I do my meeting and greeting. I get the bus home while the dark nights are here as its not too safe walking back. But I can claim that back if Ive been at the hosp. The home mum is in is about 20mins too. DD and I always have lunch out on a Wednesday so will choose the healthy option.
I know this sounds daft but how do you get the smileys in the middle of a post.0 -
I know this sounds daft but how do you get the smileys in the middle of a post.
When you do a "reply" to the thread, you can click on "advanced" and get some smiley faces on the right. Just click them with your mouse and they will appear in your post
The other way is to type some of them - eg a wink smiley like the one above is a ; and then a ) but with no space between them ; )
or a big grin is : D with no space betweenworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
