  • What was the spec of the £106 PC??
    I cant remember?!

Ive emailed them regarding the £90 monitor, and they havent rang back yet.

What sort of profit can I make on the £106 PC + the monitor on ebay?

  • Wahey! They never did get back to me but when I spoek to the call centre she had given me a name, number and extension no.

Rang it lots of times and just got call back. I'm getting all three with 15 inch TFTs at a total of £899.52. Don't know how they come to that (screens are £183.28 inc each) but I'm happy. Many thanks to original poster and originator of this thread in particular.

what was the name and number please.
the ext number I was given was wrong ext. 207 or 2007 or something like that.

    thanks

    ??? ??? ??? ???

    Another profiteer abusing moneysaver IMHO

You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

  • Excuse my ignorance..I am a little behind..
but how did you find out about this - all the prices are completely different -much higher- on the Dell website.

Can someone put me out of my misery please?
    Thanks, Alex

to cut a long story short, 3 weeks ago, Dell's online system configuration system had a flaw resulting in you being able to order a 2400 system without monitor (by ignoring warning pop ups) for £106. Dell got grumpy and said they would not honour the orders (although I think some did go through) unless you ordered a monitor. They have now offered a monitor on the cheap to keep us all happy!

The surplus E773P 17" Midnight Grey monitor's are already on ebay - new unopen "still in box"!!

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
