i did try to see if they would pricematch their own brand monitor because https://www.aria.co.uk have dell 17 inch tfts on special at mo for 187inc vat .
She went to ask her manager but they couldnt pricematch this for me.Val0 -
Just phoned them to try and add the £90 monitor and they said I had to reply to the email!!
So, I've emailed them asking to confirm the price.
The indian chap on the phone did however confirm that the price was £90-£110. (so i presume he is covering for the VAT.)
might be lucky after all!!!
Fingers crossed for the second time!0 -
I've been getting my emails ignored for two weeks and have just rung up. They said someone will call before the end of the day so fingers crossed!
Thanks for the head up Mammo.0 -
They always say they will call back, but they never do!0

They have increased the prices of the monitors...i checked a few days ago, and the 17" TFT Dell E173FP was showing as £189 and the 19" TFT Dell E193FP as £2390

same here - seems strange that they're phoning some and not others.

all i know is ive been emailing them constantly moaning about the quality of there service which i think is C$£P.
ive sent them 6 so far and last night they answered the 2nd email(very slow)
Im glad i got the pcs but i had to be passed around for 45 mins on there damm indian call centres until i got leary on the phone and demanded to be put thru to the internet sales dept.
What does scare me is a friend of mine ordered a dim 2400 but had to use my email so when id confirmed mine i asked whether i could do the same for her order.
they did this with only a name and internet receipt number only.
Not very security conscience from dell eh.Val0 -
I had responded to their E mail on 8th November still saying I did not want a monitor, but since reading the earlier post have replied again to the same E mail requesting the £90 monitor, I could not phone because I no longer had the original Internet order No. Within an hour they phoned me and have agreed to the order with 17 inch monitor the whole lot for £212.31, and I have received confirmation of the order. So you do not need the order No. if you still have one of their E mails to reply to.0
