hello all.
Yesterday i received a phone call from dell asking about my order of 2 pcs.I asked what the cheapest 17 inch crt they do is(i could only find 176 on dell site). She said they had 1 for 90 plus vat which would make each pc 212 pounds .
This is still cheaper than you can build one inc windows.
So if anyone still has there internet recepit numbers and still wansts the dim2400 then ring dell and get put thru to internet sales.
Hope it helps
£212.31 aint to bad for a black pc of this spec.

Sounds good - do you have some details (model no, product code) about the monitor please?0 -
They are now offering the same for those of us who went for the Dimension 3000 with 512 ram and 80GB hard drive for £130 so it works out at £243 inclusive with the minitor.0

I had an E mail from them on 8th November still on about the monitor, so I have just E mailed them back saying if they have a monitor for £90 I will go ahead with the order, unfortunately I wiped the original Internet order No from my computer this morning in error when I was deleting some old E mails from them. Will I need it to carry on with the order.0

Well, I have just spoken to nice Indian lady who has added the 17"CRT for me. I didn't have the cheek to ask her the specs of the original order and I have forgotten!
Can somebody remind me of them, please? It was the Dell 2400 at £106.
Thanks.0 -

I have just rang and they said my IR Number has expired even though it was done at the same time as everyone elses.0 -
Same here, got a call On Tuesday i think and pc is being delivered tomorrow for £212 with 17inch crt.0

Same here, received a phone call but I opted for the 15" Flat Panel which is currently on a 25% off offer at 181 Inc VAT! Making the total just under £300
the code for teh 15" is E153FP
I think it's still a very good deal ;D0 -
It's not a bad deal if you want a CRT, however I don't. I got one spare hence kicking around which is filling precious space.
I got a couple of emails from Dell the last two days both the same about opting for a monitor.
Oh well begger them I order after Christmas some computers parts and rebuild my server. It wont work out any cheaper in fact will costs more but what choice they I have, I simply don't need a monitor.
No longer a user, goodbye folks. PLEASE delete my account. Thank you0
