  • I got my PDF but they have charged me £212.31 PLUS vat for the 2400 giving a total of £249.46.

Has anyone else checked the final total on their pdf?

I have just spoken to India and they say they cannot refund till it is shipped.
  • I rang dell giving my IR number but they said that the number had expired and I had to go back and re order, which was no good.
As I had no emails from Dell asking me to pick a monitor I gave up BUT another poster had put his Dell email on here so I copied and pasted it and changed the IR number and email address to mine and they have just rang me offering the said £106 system plus a 17" CRT monitor which costs £106 for £252.00. As you can see this does not add up as the said system had free delivery and included VAT this does not come to £252 but £212.
I ordered three systems now I am just wondering if it is worth buying them at the £252 each.
Cant understand how they get it to the dearer price and its like speaking to a robot when I ask them.

Has anyone else had the £252 price.?
  • can anyone think why Dell are phoning some and not others? Or are they just slow getting through what could be a very long list ;D
I've had all the "you must choose a monitor" emails like some of you other guys but I've had no phone calls from them.....
I phoned india and the guy said to reply to the email asking for the £90 monitor, but this was over 24 hours ago, still no phone calls, still no pdf's..... :-/

There was a code for a £40 discount that you needed to submit with your original order

    Thanks to the original poster!!!!Cheers!!!
  • Also meant to add,

    the £90+VAT 17" CRT is a Dell E773P 17" Midnight Grey.

Pop E773P into their website's search box for a picture of it. It looks ok and normally retails for £120+VAT

    Hi all,

    thanks for this

i just managed to add the 17ins crt for a grand total of 212 inc of vat! not as good as the earlier 183 tft deal i agree, but still a gr8 buy!

they would not let me have a lcd, actually said the 15ins LCD did not even exist. but that they could offer me a 17ins for about 360 pounds! no way i said!

anyway, anyone who cant get thru by phone or wants a cal back should email them, i emailed them and within 10mins a call!! from india, nevertheless a call!! so get emailing and she assured me call back are guaranteed! ;)

Wahey! They never did get back to me but when I spoek to the call centre she had given me a name, number and extension no.

Rang it lots of times and just got call back. I'm getting all three with 15 inch TFTs at a total of £899.52. Don't know how they come to that (screens are £183.28 inc each) but I'm happy. Many thanks to original poster and originator of this thread in particular.
