Just a warning for anyone wanting to buy a TomTom One v4 from Amazon - don't get the official case they bundle with it! It's for the older TomTom Ones and because of the new suction pad, won't work with the v40

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but the cheapest TomTom is NOT £80.....

That is a really old unit though, the TomTom One is up to version 4 now, that's a version 1. Also that one is refurbished.
For an extra £20 they have a version 3 with Euro maps, cheaper than the v3 UK maps atm!
The newer x40 LIVE series can update traffic information whilst on the move, but it's a subscription service, £7.99 a month, but driving into London and having the unit tell you there is a faster route available or warn you of upcoming delays is good. Some also work as a Bluetooth handsfree unit as well instead of having the earplug stuck to the side of your head all the time.0 -
Although W H Smiths website has sold out of the Navigo, not all the shops have. I bought one today in my local Smiths. If you sign up to their 'privilege club' they will send you 4 x £5 of different vouchers, one of which you can use against the shop price of £49.99, bringing the shop price to that of the online one, £44.990

I've had one of these for over a year now & it was great value @ £50.
If you've got another sat nav that has died... just buy this as Tom Tom V6 will run on it quite happily ! it's also updateable. There are other software packages out there that should / will run on it ...all the information you need is out there in cyberspace ... seek & ye shall find !!!
You can even get US maps for it, so if you're lucky enough to to florida you're less likely to get lost !
Don't let the price put you off - ebuyer are one of the best discounters in the country... sometimes you do get something for next to nothing !!!!!!:rotfl:0 -
I've recently bought the navigo from wh smiths and was wondering if I could charge it with my phone charger (usb connection fits) for a HTC vox?
I've read you can use a motorola charger but haven't got one of those.
Thanks in advance:)0 -
I could do with an a/c charger, where did you get your info?No reliance should be placed on the above.0
