Hiya folks! I don't think I posted on here at all last week - DH was off with a badly infected foot. He couldn't even put socks on. It meant I didn't get on the computer at all!! I did fettle the house though.
I also completely rearranged DD2's bedroom and gave it a good clean. In the process I managed to get rid of plenty of stuff she will never miss. Having said that she picked up her Noddy the other day and asked where her giant Big Ears was! She had never played with it so it had gone to the charity shop. Also did a bit of rearranging in the kitchen.
I'm in, sort of, this week. Wednesday already:eek: I did vacuum all through the house yesterday - including the bits of carpet I could see in DD1's bedroom :rotfl:. The lounge usually has to be done daily as it gets covered in crumbs and bits of grated cheese
I'm also in the process of making myself some pjs from a duvet cover which a friend gave me. She gave me 6 altogether. Two have gone to the charity shop, two I'm using and the other two are being cut up for making clothes. My mum sent me a parcel of fabric today so I can start making myself some summer skirts, although looking out of the window I think I need to make a winter coat :rotfl:
Anyway, I'm now off to make myself a coffee in my thermal mug then go and wait for DS up at school. I need to go early to get parking.0 -
Yeah, finally got the camera i ordered from Amazon. Bl00dy post office are rubbish. But i got it in the end so i can use it on saturday at the concert! The zoom is phenomenal:D Lots of close ups of Jon and Richie! The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Confused_Newbie wrote: »Thank you skintscotlass. I am miserable at the minute and although Im in a job that pays an ok wage I cant go on like this. I feel like my life is a never ending cycle of sitting in traffic!
Just need to sit down with hubby and work out what it will mean for me to be out two nights a week. Thinking it would require a bit more assistance from hubby around the house
I'm currently off work with stress and depression. I have to say in my experience, no job is worth it. Your health and happiness is more important0 -

Mmm. Looks like I've got some catching up to do. Had a carp day so far. Went off to deliver parcels today only to find I had some missing. Not my fault I might add. So I have to do a 50 odd mile round trip again after I finish work tomorrow when really I should be flying.
Still, house doesn't look to bad and at least the washing is up to date. Will check back later hopefully when I've done a bit more.0 -
Have a house fire
Had a fire in airing cupboard last monday, we all got out ok thankfully but currently have no towels/bedding/hot water/heatign or washing machine.
So the cleaners can come and do full cleaning of the smoke damage i have been decluttering and the house is looking pretty tidy(but only cos they have taken everything away to clean)
I want to keep the house this tidy and clean once all the work is done as it looks good seeing the floors in rooms instead of junk.
do you think its possible with a messy family and a mum who hates to clean( i can think of better things to do)?em x
Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
