Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all :hello:

HUGE BIG SQUISHY HUGS TO ALL and EXTRA LARGE ONES TO THOSE WHO NEED OR WANT ONE :D:rotfl:

I've just popped in to catch up while I wait for the kettle to boil for my 3rd cup of tea today - I'm freezing cold as its so damp.

I'm not flying as such today - I'm giving myself a money makeover instead. When I was chatting to my mate yesterday he said he's going to have to get someone in to rent his spare room so he can afford his mortgage repayments. So during the course of the conversation it came up that I used to manage to feed and clothe etc me, ex and DD when she was in nappies for £11k a year before tax and it suddenly hit home how wasteful I've become since then :o He was impressed and asked for frugal lessons :rotfl: Soooo I'm starting off with the Direct debits this morning (I spent £1152 on Gas & Electricity last year  ) and looking at ways to cut bills... I think its time I set my signature up with my debts again :o I kind of feel guilty that he thinks I'm so frugal and all that when I've fallen off the bandwagon with such flare :o

    Right, off I pop!

  • Well had quite a productive evening hoovered, did yet more ironing!! (Get me!) Sorted some meals for the rest of the week.

Having a bit of a dilema, basically I really need a career change. What I am doing at the minute is really getting me down and to be honest I have no idea how I even ended up in this job! I need to be sensible about it though so am thinking of enrolling at tech to do a course at night, gain some extra skills and then hopefully will have a wider scope of what I can do.

I really want to train to be a nail technician which I can do in the evenings. Two problems though, number one is that it would be two evenings a week for a year, which would put me under even more pressure than I already am and number two being that it will cost £300. Im afraid that it is a lot of money that hubby and I will have to tighten our belts to afford, and what if I am no good at it?!

Ohhhh just realised this is a very long post, sorry for the ramble. Just someitmes things seem clearer when I 'sat them out loud'

back again... with DD2s manky old scraggy keyboard.. and a very loud cat...

Pi$$y clinic with Mim this morning.. we basically discussed the rights and wrongs of the HPV vaccine (the one for cervical cancer).. and I still need to get the meds for DD3 from the GP.

Hubbys passport has arrived.. God he is uuuugly.. lol.. why are those pics the most unflattering ever?!

I went to my mothers after dropping DD3 off at school.. at least I didn't have to make the cuppa.. :D .. bonus

Today I have a bag of ebay stuff to post and £40 to put in my mtohers account.. neither of which I can do until Hubby gets back from Selby with my bank card.. we aren't quite sure how he ended up with it but he has it all the same!

I best go feed the bunnies and find some kitchen.. Oh.. I just threw out my microwave after it cooked the doorseal!!!.. and I am not buying a new one just for hubby to do his porridge.. he can use a pan like in ye olden days!

holly.. I did the migraine on Saturday.. I didn't get up until 3pm ish and have a nasty headache still.. crap isn't it. I'm just way behind because I have been running about like a mad woman all week so far and nmext week just gets worse!!
