Felt a lot better after lunch, headache is gone and not so tired so got a few things done.
    Washed and dried towels
    Went to get some shopping
    Watched a film
Had a gossip with a friend

    Better than nothing I guess.

Hope you all are doing well.

    Hello
Hope everyone's ok. You'll all be starting to study just as I finish. I'm determined not to do anymore courses next year. Please hold me to that!!!

Feeling a bit better today as relented and took sudafed. Makes me feel a bit surreal but I can cope with that.

Flying has been minimal - very minimal. Hope to do more tomorrow but I really must revise for exams next week.

Don't know if you all remember me ranting about behaviour at DDs school. Well, a lot has been done including a huge re-draft of the behavioural policy document. However, I found out this mornin that my original letter of complaint was left out on the heads desk and a group of mums who'd been called in to sort out problems in a different class all read it. Now, I don't mind people knowing how I feel but the very reason I wrote a letter was to get something done rather than just gossip and moan in the playground. What if I had minded people knowing how I felt. As it is i've got people asking me if it was true and saying they're going in to complain about disipline now it's been bought up so he's shot himself in the foot.

Ok, tea, brownie run, revise and s/s.

Hugs to all. I'll catch up on the thread this evening xx

Not getting very far as I keep sitting down.

Casserole cooking so I could do a HHC in the kitchen to see what I can achieve.

Bad news seems to be hitting our neighbourhood (still not sure what is going on next door - still lots of family turning up and going)

Post office has been choosen as one to be axed. It was on the list of 15 and whilst everybody has been protesting/petitions/marches etc nobody thought it would be our one which was choosen. I will miss it and will make me think twice about ebay as I can walk to this one. Other one in town I can walk to (15 minutes) but it is so busy.

Also our old house (in the next street but you can see if from the kitchen window) is having an extention and they have found a huge problem with the bricks - the mortar has disappeared and the house will have to have all the walls rebuilt and possibly be demolished and started again. I loved that house and feel so sorry for the couple in their now who have 2 little girls and another babe on the way.

    Right HHC until 17:20 anyone?

Thanks dusty - it's not the end of the world but it's just typical. Think i'll go and be politely annoyed tomorrow. Nightmare about the post office - hope ours doesn't go.

Lil_me - hope you get sorted at the doctors.

Food on table for children. Find out at 5 if our car is salvagable....fingers crossed! xx

    Have a house fire

Had a fire in airing cupboard last monday, we all got out ok thankfully but currently have no towels/bedding/hot water/heatign or washing machine.

So the cleaners can come and do full cleaning of the smoke damage i have been decluttering and the house is looking pretty tidy(but only cos they have taken everything away to clean)

I want to keep the house this tidy and clean once all the work is done as it looks good seeing the floors in rooms instead of junk.

do you think its possible with a messy family and a mum who hates to clean( i can think of better things to do)?

    Hi mumtomany,

I'm so glad that you all got out and nobody was hurt.

The best place to get help and support with cleaning and decluttering is the flylady thread so I'll add your post to it. There are different levels to suit different people.....if you look at the first post you'll find all the info.

That is very bad form Mudbath! Surely anything you write should be treated in confidence:confused: I'd be very grumpy.
Mum2many - glad you're all ok, how scary! This is the best place for advice usually:D
