Lil-me - thanks for the update - hope the tests turn out fine.

G&B - yes, I'm finding the site slow this evening

Found some beef in the freezer so I'm just defrosting that in the microwave then will pop it in the oven to cook slowly.

.....He's of course in a worse strop as they've said he needs his nails cut, he hates that probably more than anything else in the world, he's currently nibbling on them every so slightly as he can't even face biting them off, we'll get there and no doubt the neighbours will think I am killing him as he screams so loud over it.
:rotfl: mine used to do that, you would have thought I was cutting their nails with a hedgetrimmer the way they were screaming......they soon learnt to cut their own as I wasn't allowed to touch their hands and feet in the end

Lil_me I'm glad the doctor was understanding and is arranging bloods

JulieJim sorry to hear about your OH I hope you both manage to get your heads round it.

Dinner done and eaten - more fresh mange tout which were lovely. Kids eating there way through loads of strawberries and I haven't even picked anymore today.

Forgot I have to take DS1 to footie training - he is grounded but allowed to go only as he has done his revision and he doesn't want to go but wants to play in the last tournament on Sunday. He has been with the club for 7 years so it would have been a step to far for me to make him miss it.
