Hi Everyone....Hope you don't mind another newbie. I have actually been "flying" for about a year and have flitted between the flylady official site and this thread. I have to say that I really prefer the way you all do things (instead of the numerous constant Emails night and day from the flylady site ). I have now got into a bit of a routine thanks to flylady, but can always do with some motivation and a few smiles on "difficult days!". If its ok I will just post my own daily list. Looking forward to flying alongside you all. x

I emptied a cupboard!! AND I binned about 2 dozen bottles/tubes/cartons of medicines and tablets... GROSS!!! The gaviscon had turned to a gloob in the bottle.. I had to add water and shake it vigorously before it would rinse out.. the earliest date was.... march... 2001!!!!!!!!! Thought I best bin that.. my recycle bins are now full of empty tablet canisters! and my bin full of mangy pills!.. the tops of the fridge and freezer are now much clearer though and the stuff in the cupboard doesn't leap out every time you open the cupboard.

DD1 mucking out the bunnies and they are racing around the floor after their ball.. loopy things!!

    :hello:to all the newbies!

Lucifa - Congratulations! What exciting news!

recovering spendaholic - I like your style! I read that out to DS1 who's almost 18, who was most amused. I would suggest that DD pays half towards big expensive items - I've done this for years with my three, since DS1 desperately wanted a Gameboy and I couldn't afford it.

lil_me - take care of yourself.

Electra - not too late to sow at all. I agree with dusty, salad leaves, spring onions, radish from seed, and tomatoes, chillis, herbs from plants. I can also suggest oriental leaves, which can be sown through July. Last year, I saw a long range weather forecast that September was going to be really nice (and early frosts haven't happened here for a few years) so in mid-August, I sowed rows of early carrots, lettuce, radish, spring onions, baby turnips - all sorts of things. Most were successful, and we had some lovely small but delicious vegetables for the autumn.

Tired after fairly demanding day on supply, and haven't done much flying apart from the bedlinen. Huge catch-up tomorrow I think - well, I'll do some of the things I've missed anyway!

DS2 had a very rough time at the dentist's, with root canal treatment. OH took him. I just couldn't believe the bill - £310. And that's on top of the £65 last time.I think we'll have to find a NHS dentist somewhere, or at least one that will take the children.

    Evening everyone.....

can't believe the Thursday list is up - haven't looked at Wednesday yet! . The mind is willing but the flesh is weak!

oooh look. I think I have those little smiley things in the right place tonight!!!! you watch when i submit this they won't be there and you'll all wonder what on earth I'm talking about! :rotfl:

Haven't figured out how to get my list in here so that I can cross the things i've done off - but DON'T tell me ..... trying to find out how keeps me busy and stops me doing housework :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Hugs to all who need them .... can't believe the tough times some of you are facing..... all I have to deal with is a stoppy 6 year old and a cat who keeps bringing birds and mice home (still alive I might add!) . must go as DH is making sandwiches for tomorrow and I think he needs help or i end up with something really unusual - i am sure he does it on purpose!

    night night
    will drop in again tomorrow.

I am probably being really stupid, but could someone tell me how to strike through something on a list, and for some reason the "thanks" button is nowhere to be seen??? I wish I was a bit more computer literate!! Time for bed I think. Nite Nite.
