Just a quick hello from me. I really need to do something, maybe a coffee and music will get me buzzing:confused: .

DD2 not at nursery till 12.30 and is still really cuddly but she has just asked for the Happyland so I may get an hours peace.

Hugs to Bonsi - stay strong my love and if you need to off-load we are all very good listeners (readers - YKWIM).

    Morning
Just managed to catch up - you sure did post a lot yesterday. DH should be in China now so peace and quiet for a fortnight. Rushed around like a mad thing yesterday so going to take it a bit easier today. Didn't sleep too well with the dreadful weather.
Kids have been dropped at school. I've done online banking and hung out one load of washing out and put another in the machine.
Now to start on todays list.
    Have a good one.

Another tired flylady here, as the rain and storm woke me up, and then I took ages to go back to sleep.

DS2 at home again today, as he still feels wobbly. DS1 also at home - he actually made it in to school yesterday to discover that his ICT began on Monday, just as I told him it probabaly would... He has a trip to the Uni tomorrow, as they are hosting a special ICT day, with animation workshops. He'll enjoy that. DD sleeping over at a friend's last night, then we're going shopping this afternoon - she wants something smartish to wear for their final assembly. She found a really pretty dress in New Look, but she's a bit doubtful, as she doesn't really do dresses, so we're going down again, and may also look at a top to go with trousers instead as that's more her style.

I am going to exchange the money for our minibreak to Santander - we're going Monday! I'm getting quite excited now! I think I may buy some more linen trousers, or maybe shorts - I'm not sure, as I don't have great legs. They look much better covered up! The girls asked if I thought they would be allowed in any clubs - and I said that I doubted it, and I had arranged for them to be tucked up in bed with the hotel babysitting service, while I went out clubbing...:cool:There's a small part of them that kinda thinks I mean it.:D

Right, housework. As the sun is shining, I think I may head for the allotment, and do the house tomorrow when they forecast rain.

Chin up bonsi - have faith that it will turn out alright in the end. You have a lot of good wishes coming your way from all of us.

    Hi to joanie and jojo.

    Morning all

Two loads of washing out, including the throws from the living room.
Kitchen S&Sd, living room dusted, vacuumed through downstairs and I did the stairs.

Going up to do the bathroom next then hoping to tidy out some more cupboards. I've been working my way through them this week. Even though I did them all a few months ago it still seems like stuff keeps creeping back in.

DD2 home today so I never get as much done then.

bonsibabe if I had the spare money I'd be on my way to Germany now, sounds like you could do with a hug big style. It's ok to be upset, you've got a lot to deal with and worries you shouldn't have to deal with. It's good news that welfare have told you to keep fighting it, I doubt they would if they didn't feel it would get you anywhere. Big hugs for you all inc your little DD, a day off won't hurt, probably do you both good. I am sure it won't come to being entirely stuck, I know you said family have no room but there are always sofas. We're more north than the Cotswolds, far from Scotland by all means but there is sofas here if you need them, noone on here will let you become completely stuck with nowhere to go or turn to when you need it.

Davgirl, take it easier today, don't want you making yourself worse. Enjoy your quiet fornight :D

g&b hope little ones day at the big school goes well.

soappie, hope you find some, to be honest I haven't really been past a petrol station, we managed to refill on Monday after the trip to York but I think that was the last time I was out, I really hope we don't start to struggle getting it up here as no fuel = no work for DP = no income, scary thought...

Juliejim good luck to your DD, sounds great, if a bit scary!

Johanne, hugs for you and little Sarah, I am suprised 'Per Diem' didn't get further, I do like that song aswell. I've never thought of getting live delivered, but thinking about it it might be worth a try as I am doing a 18 mile roundtrip for live stuff (not one of the 4 pet shops within 3 miles stocks them!!)

Dusty, now that made me laugh :rotfl: sounds a bit like night time here, or even day time! Oh apart from I wouldn't have a shoe rack in my bedroom!!!

Just had a really sad call from a desperate Mam who's son has a drink problem looking for advice on mental health services etc. It's so upsetting when things get so desperate that a mother is seeking advice on how to get her son sectioned for his own safety. I've hopefully pointed her in the right direction, I think she contacted me knowing we've been through the process with my sister(but hers wasn't alcohol related) but I am more than aware that it'll probably take a much worse situation to occur before they receive help.

Decided not to start studying before I go to get my blood taken as I always feel slightly 'on edge' I manage it but I don't like needles! Washers on, emptied the DW which I put on before bed, weather seems to be cheering a little so might even get it dried on the line. Studying will have to be the priority today, house will have to just stay messy for now as it needs doing first. Swimming tonight so need to find everything for that aswell. Posts just come through, so tempted to put a sponge at this side of the door as the smallest letter sounds like a lead parcel when it comes through!!! Need to do some money moving, move cash into high interest account mainly and pay DPs card bills (will leave him a note of how much he owes me)

Have a nice day everyone xxx
One day I might be more organised...........
