I agree with Lilac Lady - get rid of the clutter first - you can't tidy it up, only move it around ;) Take a look at this thread - enough is enough; the great declutter.

You'll get loads of encouragement on the Flylady thread - this week's is here.

I'm currently tidying my house. I hate cleaning, so I spend 15 or 30 mins in each room, do what I can and move on. I promise it will get easier!

I'll add this to the Flylady thread later, Penny. x

Done the bathroom and toilet now. All the washing is dry, so that has been folded and put away.

Took everything out of the cupboard under the stairs. Most of it had to go back but now it is tidy and I know what's there (ironing board could have gone I suppose......)

Started working on the drawer of old old photos (my mum when she was small and her parents etc.). Nothing to throw away obviously but it's great looking through them again. Unfortunately there are some where I just don't know who the people are and there's no-one to ask now. Shame :(

Back and stabbed, 5 times!!! After the second time in each arm they gave up and the GP had to take it from my hand so within the next hour or so I will be purple no doubt with bruises, I feel like a pin cushion. 5 tubes of blood later all done, I'm never much good at parting with red stuff.

Mudbath, sort of, I want the liver ones to be clear especially as I could do without that packing in on me, I don't think it's that because my eyes are still white, I spent way too much time in the Freeman hospital when DS2 was tiny because of it and don't want to spend any more time in there, for all my specialist is lovely I don't want to be there more than I need to. A virus of some sort I would be ok with, but I am sure they will come back ok.

Pollybear ((hugs)) I lve looking at photos but they can make you sad all at the same time, we found a family one at my Dad's a little while ago then realised how many were no longer with us :(

I think I might need a snooze before studying, I can barely keep my eyes open :o I will get the laundry hung out then see how I feel.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Update
    WM on
    Hung curtains in DD's room
    Dishes all washed except pots
    Made a few phone calls
    Dog fed and watered

Now gonna see whats in the freezer.

    Hugs Pollybear.

Hope they find out what's wrong soon Lil_me.

    Glad it went well GnB.

Shell hope your DD's temp goes back to normal soon, had to laugh at your DD she's going. They so know what they want.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Afternoon all

Lil_me glad the bloods are done, how long for the resutls? Go sleep!

Polly - slow down you have turned into the flying queen

G&B glad LO had a good time

Mudbath - we don't usually find out teachers until really close to the end of term. Often the teachers don't know what year they are teaching until then either. I'm happy you have good teachers for next year and a fab size class. Do you think they have separated them because it's a SATs year?

I've been to town and got all the bits done and ended up with a free copy of EVE - I had a coupon for £2.40 off but the girl put it through for the whole amount - 50p moc in it too plus a free bag so nice little deal.

I'm really lacking enthusiasm today. AF is due but I just don't feel she is about to arrive if that makes sense. I think I'll go and do a bit outside - I'm not even in the mood for that but at least I can tick something off if I do it.

Am sat here drinking a lucozade in the hope it will do what it says on the bottle "give me energy" . I have dropped DD2 at nursery and explained how she has been, they know i am at home so if she goes downhill they will ring me. Am really hoping she is ok tomorrow as I have my interview:eek: .

Vanilla - you are so right about them knowing what they want:D .

Had to have a chat with the teacher again today. When I collected DD1 from school yesterday she said the little girl she had had problems with before has now started not only shouting again but pushing. Sorry but am not letting this girl get physical with DD1, yes DD1 is sensitive and takes things to heart but physical violence is just that. If she gets away with it at 5 what will she be like later in life:mad: .

Have done a 1/3 of the decking but need to leave it for 20 mins to do its thing so will see if its worked. Have put some bleach on the grouting around the edge of the bath so will rinse that off too in a min. Not very OS but very quick;) .

Right think the lucozade has kicked in so off to polish something:D

pollybear - what are you doing with the photos? Are you scanning them or putting them into a nice album?

Well, my registration as a landlord is now 'live' and going through the process of ensuring that I am a fit and proper person :o So I can now crack on with the rental process :D I have loads of phonecalls to make so time for some lunch. I might fit in a HHI while the racing is on. I love Ladies Day
