    Evening everyone.
Have boarded the boat this week but am not rowing very fast!
I did manage to paint the garden table and two benches this afternoon while ds dozed - tried to do it quick before he woke up because I didn't fancy scrubbing green paint off a small child when he "helped".

BIG !!{hugs}} for those that had a hard day yesterday. Reading your posts made me realise just how important Dads are so just rang mine and I told him I loved him.......... admittedly there was a long silence at the other end of the phone then he said "thanks, do you want your mum then?" which is what he usually asks when I ring them!

    Hope

Hello everyone, can i join too?
Found this thread last Friday and been desperate to join but waited for Monday to start a new week fresh. I've been flying for about 17months and was getting really bored with it all but now I've found this thread I can't wait to get going..... probably picked wrong night though as just got back from taking DS to football and haven't started my and DH's tea yet.

Oh well.... I've printed Monday off and got my own list too so wish me luck i'll see how much I can get through tonight and pop back again tomorrow after work.

    bye all.

Thanks for all the offers to collect bottle tops, as soon as I know if it is a hoax of not I will let you know.

A has just got back from bellringing, it's usually cubs on a Monday but Akela is on holiday and has rearranged it for Wednesday night, swimming or BBQ depending on the weather. A local chap is making a DVD all about ringing and is filming A and a couple of other people who are learning at the mo. A is really excited and thinks she is going to be a Hollywood star!

LOL at your DD AnW's Mum - can I have her autograph now please:D , get her to do a few may be worth a packet on ebay in a few years. If the bottle cap thing turns out to be genuine count me in too - it always annoys me throwing them in the bin. I think if it cannot be recycled they shouldnt be able to use it for packaging:mad: .

    Welcome Newbies!:T

Tea has been and gone and been cleaned up after. Littles had their 2 stories and are now asleep - all is peaceful (sigh!!:D ).

Have just been having a play around with word and excel just to check I know how to do stuff. Current work use lotus for general admin stuff but word for the details (some BC edition me thinks:rolleyes:). Am off to have a look at more jobsites in a mo. Quick question though, does anyone use those childcare salary sacrifice vouchers? and if so how long do they take to "kick in"? Ta!

    Plan for tomorrow is:-

Pack ups x 2 (dd2 at lunch club)
Get cash out to pay below
Get my hair cut and coloured:eek:
    Lounge (as per pigpen)
    S & S Kitchen & bathroom
    Hoover through
Mow back garden (if not raining)
Scrub decking (with cleaning solution - if not raining)
Phone dentist and make check-up appointment
Book DD2 into lunch club on Friday incase interview overruns
    WM x 1
    HHI
Drive past place when interview is (so I dont get lost:o and suss out parking situation:o :o )

Although if my hair is horrible I may just hide with a paper bag over my head for the day:eek: .

    Evening,

its been a long one today - i was grateful to see DH come home tonight. Hugs to those of you having a rough time. suzi, anw's mum, johanne.

nicki - we have tiscali package - £19 a month for phone/tv/internet, and that gives us freeview plus some sky channels, with free weekend calls and no BT subscription. That has been pretty good for us.

Right, quick list update for me, although i can say now that i haven't achieved much. I suppose anything is better than nothing.

I am going to keep a list of what i have achieved so i feel happy with myself.

    So far:
    • all up/dressed/washed/fed
    • washed my bedding
    • stain soaked and washed a load of light kids clothes
    • cooked dinner
    • washed up breakie and lunch dishes
    • dealt with post - shredded/recycled and water bill paid
    • pigsback and emails
    • veg peeled for dinner
    • roast chicken cooked
    • bathed both boys
    • got ds1 to bed
It really is baby steps today.

not bad to say i have spent what feels like hours BFing.

Early night for me i think tonight, though i must get the clothes out tonight for tomorrow as DS1 is going to nursery and i said i would go to lidls with my sister as we haven't been before.

    Michelle, x

Ah!! I found you, it's easy when you know the person's real name :D Or when someone has a name on here that you can guess what their real name is.

anyone not sure who mentioned it but does anyone grow vegetables in plant pots? Would love to have an allotment like you serena but hubby says to start small and work my way up, I tend to agree :o
