I wonder if you lot could help me.......
A friend at work is collecting plastic milk bottle tops (and any others of the same grade plastic ie juice bottle tops etc) for a child she knows who needs an electric wheel chair. Apparently if we can collect enough bottle tops to match the child's body weight then the family won't have to find any ££££ to go towards the costplus the tops get recycled.
I have been doing this for a while and every now and then we send what we have collected between us at work to my friend at her branch. If you think you could help then I/we would appreciate it. To save on post costs etc small/medium jiffy bags of tops could be sent to me through my works internal mail system. If you didn't already know I work for a bank (I know, don't shout at me!) and there are branches in most towns. If you can help then please PM me and I'll give you the internal address.
Right better go and put some of this clean washing away before I collect A & W from school.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Dustykitten thanks for the link will have a look.
ref the chicken (wings btw) hubby checked this morning and said it was fine. To give you some background his mum use to give him out of date food etc so his stomach is 'hardened' to it iykwim
So I cooked it earlier but while it was cooking it smelt different not the usual aroma from cooking a chicken. What do I do? I know hubby will come home and say it is all right but I just don't know!0 -
Hello AnW'smum would love to help but I had heard that this was a scam as the firms involved only gave about £50 per 1 tonne of bottle tops. Hope I am wrong.
If so please send me a pm with the details of the internal etc .January Grocery 11/3740 -
