YAY!! 100%
Now need (optional) to do one more test to make it a complete level 2 but it's on the same material I've been doing so should be easy-ish.
Thanx to all for good luck wishes!
Hugs to all who's had a tough weekend, I dread to think that there might be a day when my dad won't be around. Must be so hard for you all. :grouphug:
Electra King: I too grew up on out of date food but NEVER eat chicken that smells off! Can be very bad for you.
Nearly time to put dinner on and then time to reassess what else on the list can be done with little or no effort.0 -

Hi flyladies
Hope everyone is fit and well ((()))) to those who aren't.
Got back from Sunderland late last night having done the Great Women's Run. Had a lovely weekend but we're all exhausted today (and I'm working tonight so no early night for me!!). Had a great time there - lovely to see BIL and his GF and the run was a nice route along the beach and pier and through the park. The pier was closed off at the end though as it was wet at the end so the course turned out to be 5.5 miles instead of 6.2 - shame I know !!!lol!
Think we're on an early tea so kids can be in bed early & I can get to work. Best check the carrot & lentil soup in the SC (hopefully its ready - its had 3 and a half hours on high). Have to catch up on the thread tomorrow.
AnW's mum - I collected a bag full about 2 years ago then found out it was a scam!
mummyleads - I have got the BEST bread & butter pudding recipe - lots of cream and eggs and not very OS but very, very good. Let me know if you want it.0 -
*rant alert*
I've just had 4 hours notice that my mother and 2 sisters planned ON SATURDAY to take pops out for fathers day dinner tonight.. at 6pm.. I am the only one with children.. and I get a few hours notice.. great.. hubby is now in a right old strop because they do this every time.. part of me wants to say f*** off .. if you can't give me decent warning I'm not coming!.. Cutting off ones nose to spite ones face I believe??..
I've run out of postage bags and have 5 items to post..
I don't want to go to college in September and my mother has basically brow beat me into it.. I am so hoping I get the place on the other course so I can say.. sorry can't do it!! She was taking the enrollment forms in.. then they decided she needed Id for me so came and collected me so I had to go do that.. I also challenged the bint on the desk about these mythical posters of Legend.. she said oh I printed them off 2 weeks ago.. I said I don't care they sure as hell were not up last Tuesday.. after a few minutes of my 'gentle' persuasion she decided to admit they were actually only put up last Tuesday night so anyone who attends monday or tuesday couldn't possibly have known.. and the tutors knew nothing about it either!
*rant over...*
Off to put away my tesco stuff.. stick food in the oven for this lot and make myself fine for going out cos I look like a tramp!
Other than rant I've had no time to do anything as I've been with my mother all day.. complaining about her sore mouth.. she has a large abcess and had a tooth removed yesterday... I said it can't be that sore you've not shut up moaning all day! lol
I've sorted and washed my way through 4 baskets of laundry though.. and she did clean the bit of pork out of my fridge I was going to throw out tomorrow..

Hello all
Yet more newbies! :hello:
Hugs to anyone who needs one. Hope everyone is feeling better.
Edited list in post 36
Denise - yes, it's a long list coz it's the whole week. I've sussed if I post it all and delete what I do, instead of crossing it off, it motivates me to make it shorter!!! And, as my work can be quite erratic at times, I can scoot ahead with things when I have the chance.
Anyway, dailies done, including 3 wash loads, two of which are dried and folded, coz it's not rained yet. Levels 1, 2 and a couple of bits of 3 done, not made it to the bank today, will stop off tomorrow instead.
I'm waiting for a builder to call me back and hope he'll be able to come and assess our problem. It's not going to be quick and easy to sort, I'm just hoping we don't have to foot the bill, as the surveyor should have noticed. If we're right, it will solve the damp in DD's room, and make the extension warmer.DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Just to let you know we're back safe and sound, went without any major hiccups, forgot a few things but they weren't that important (was funny as we were driving down saying what we'd forgot) DS2 especially had a great time, he's the more outdoor loving one, made lots of dirty laundry in the process playing with the other kids. DS1 it gave a perfect hiding place, was so pleased we opted for caravan instead of a tent as he refused to even walk into the toilets that were there (I don't blame him they were awful!)
Dogs were very well behaved, youngest didn't like being on his chain but soon got used to it, oldest decided that was home within a few hours and barked when anyone walked past but people who were with us soon knew her bark was far worse than her bite and they made lots of human friends, when we were busy they realised if they cried someone would come over and fuss over them which they of course used to get their own way and their food consisted of mainly things from other peoples BBQs on Saturday night. Things went in general much easier and better than I thought, looking forward to our next trip away (some time in the school hols) instead of dreading it, was quite hard work especially being the first time out, having to remember in advance about 'have we got enough water' (which day 2 we ran out of as I was in the middle of being showered)'I need to put the water heater on BEFORE the washing up builds up/I need a shower' (ran out of hot water mid shower brrr!) etc I need to get the hang of.
Since getting back last night I've been mainly emptying the caravan out, cleaning it then DP drove it back to the storage place. Got a pile of laundry likely close to a pigpen one which seeing as the weather is being poo will take me a while to get washed/dry. Got an assignment due in week on Wednesday (the one I got the extension on) which I need to work on this week aswell, then I need to get the awning dry (yes we got rained on) and other such stuff.
All in all I think it'll be a busy week, I'm feeling very tired and my back is going crackers (DSs sleeping patterns over the weekend left a lot to be desired) so will offer hugs for all who would like or need one and go get the washer emptied, again! Catch up with you all later. One day I might be more organised...........
