Hoping for a dry day on Wednesday as I am going with W and his class on the school trip to White Post farm :T
ooh - the one at Farnsfield? Have you been before? I used to spend Friday afternoons there when picking up step sons. My boys love it there, haven't been since DS1 started school though. You will need some 20ps for feeding the pigs - a high treat for my pair!
I have done the dailies, and spent an hour trawling for car insurance. Very boring. Too cold to be outside, and DS2 is still whinging - hope he isn't coming down with something.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Morning/afternoon all!
I have made a start on the list and had our landlord stop in for a cuppa. 5 years since he stopped by last and he's impressed with the work we've done on the house AND I'm getting as new carpet for the bedroom!! Hooray!

I think it is that one hex, just had to look at the map to be sure! Certainly looks like the same place and looks to be about the right sort of travel time on a coach. We both went when we only had A when she was at nursery. That time it rained too so hoping for better weather this time.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0

Which forcast did you check? BBC forcast showers here for the past 4 days and it has been dry and sunny, some passing cloud but no rain at all. DS1 is obsessed by weather and says they are very rarely right so fingers crossed.
Back to the hoovering, then lunch then a list update. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Kitchen and dining room all done apart from cleaning the oven. I forgot to put the stuff on it last night so I will do that tomorrow. Think I'll run a cleaner through the dishwasher and a bit of bleach through the washing machine machine at the same time.
Just going to have a bite to eat and then must pop back to the vets to pay (didn't have any money this morning and it only came to £3.50 so they wouldn't take a credit card), nip to Aldi and the post office.
Germish - good luck0 -
I think I'm going to have a very happy little girl tonight - I've got my music blasting and automatically started singing along...great until my voice has just gone trying to sing "when you're gone" by Avril Lavigne and now it sounds like some low pitched growl so I won't be shouting tonight
:rotfl: Think I'll have to practice the whistling with my fingers thing I used to do at secondary school as its the only way I'll get her attention if she runs off on our walk :rotfl: Will have to work on some hand signals as well apart from point at her and point at the floor infront of me for come back
Right, off to raid DDs wardrobe and see if there is anything else I can add to this charity shop bag as I need to call in with it this afternoon as I owe them some money (only 50p) and promised to drop it in this afternoon:wave:

Slipped off bandwagon over last few days as OH has been off and i always try and spend time with him when he is otherwise dont see him. Still off today (does shifts of 4 nights, 4 off, 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights etc..) so hes took LO off to his mums to give me a chance to crack on.
((hugs)) to SuzieQ and AnW and everyone who PMed me or needs a hug today!
Had a hard day yesterday, although was OH's first fathers day it was also his first without his own dad. So we got my dad to drive us up to Tawd Vale (scout campsite) where we spread FILs ashes so we could lay some flowers. I broke down as its only just now sinking in with me hes really gone, last few weeks have been a bit of a blur. But then we went for a long walk to the nearby village and had a pub lunch and discussed our plans to move up near there soon as we can - although we know it will be years awayBut it cheered us up a bit. And last night OH thanked me for making it a nice day for him and his gift (bought him a card and a watch off baby). So hoping hes ok..
Anyway on with the cleaning.....................

Was always going to be a difficult day for you all Johanne, such a mixed bag of emotions. Sadness that FIL is no longer here but joy at OH's first father's day. Sounds like on the balance of things though that you all had a positive day so well done youOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0
