Morning all
I'm in again this week, but not doing much today as I'm looking after cousin's LO. So far I have a fleece in the wash and a towel to go in as she has sicked up. I was hoping that we'd get into the garden to do some weeding, but I think we're due for heavy rain.
I've just joined facebook as well. How do I find the flyladies?0 -
Those who want to join us on Facebook, search for "ol' style MSE" and request to join the group!
I'll add you as soon as I can

Morning
Doing well so far - kids taken to school with packed lunch, taken the hamster to the vets to have her teeth clipped, cleaned out 3 hamsters and washing on the line.
Just having a cup of tea and then onward and upward with cleaning the kitchen and dining room.
Now got 10 watchers on ebay for DS beavers t shirt and trousers with a day to go.
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Just bobbing in and out - done level one already, off to carry on. I really want to get some baking done today.
I've just started reading the Weezl's thread on living on £40 per month for two and while I haven't finished it I do feel rather ashamed of the amount I have been spending.
So, added to the extras is do an inventory of all the stuff that is in my cupboards and GET IT USED!
Bought lentils yesterday. Not sure how comfortable OH is with that
So, I won't be keeping up with the thanksas my buttons get weird, but saying hi and hugs, and thank you again for putting up the list.
Always another chapter0 -
Moring all
Been to the GP with DS3. It is worse this morning - think sticky eyes and you'll get the picture. GP was the kids one so he was great and not concerned. Has given antibs as it is too yucky to clean or put much cream on - we do have cream too. He has never had antibs and I'm not keen on them but I am going to give them as 4 days now and getting worse.
Michelle DS is watching Barney and driving me senseless singing along already
Serena I love the trug and am impressed, I wonder if my pots are ready, I scrapped some soil away last week and they did not look it but they are starting to flower now - some international kidney and some which just sprouted in the sack
Bonsi - hope all goes ok with hubbie
Denise well done on your first client
Guess I should do some flying:
put wash out
make pack up for DS3 - want to go into school before lunchtime
try to find mum's glasses
email cricket coach (DS1 grounded so no cricket this week)
tidy kitchen and wash up
hoover living room
hoover stairs
hoover bedrooms
strip kids beds
tidy and clean DS1 room
meal plan
sort fridge
s&s
Best get moving - be back at lunch timeThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I am going to have a go at flying again this week. Last week once I got started on Wednesday I managed to finish all the days and we had a very busy weekend with all the family and girlfriends here. It is DH b'day today but we had a big party yesterday instead. DS3 and friends are camping out so we have managed to keep the house relatively clutter free.
mudbath, hugs to you. I think you need them to help you get your exam revision done! I hope you feel better soon.

Morning all
Lovely day here so far, although it was very chilly when I took the dog out about 6.30.
One load of washing out on the line.
I've done up to level 3 on the kitchen/diner except for the windows which I did inside last week and the window cleaner did outside last Tuesday. I just clean off the cat snot as I go along....
Dusted and polished living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.
Emptied shoe cupboard and vacuumed it out and put the shoes back tidily. Nothing to throw away but they're not just flung in now
Sorted DH's bedside cabinet. Did the drawer last week and still had the cupboard to do. It's empty now......ready to be refilled again I expect.
He doesn't half keep some rubbish!
I keep sneezing, I've got sore eyes and a banging headache. Touch of hayfever I assume. Never mind.0 -
Morning lovely ladies!!
I haven't been about for a few weeks, family visiting, procrastination, that sort of thing
Anyway, my OH is going for a brain op 2 weeks todayso I really need to get as organised as possible - I'm going to be spending a lot of time at the hospital (25 miles away  ) for the first 5 or so days, then I'm obviously going to be looking after him, as well as my wee girlies when he comes home.
I'm very fortunate to have my Mum to stay while he's in hospital though, plus his Mum lives only 17 doors away from us, we get on like a house on fire, and she's very supportive, so will be a rock for us.
But having said all that, it'll be a huge benefit to us to be as organised as poss before the op.
Just getting ready to take Elise to pre-school, then off shopping to batch cook a load of stuff for Keira (we're a month into weaning), and will hopefully pop on later to sort out my list for the rest of the day!
If you have good thoughts, they'll shine out of your face like sunbeams & you'll always look lovely.0 -
Hello everyone ((hugs)) to those in need and who aren't feeling well.
AnW's Mum - your post yesterday really made me count my blessings - what an awful thing to be dealing with it but your post was so lovely that I may print it out and show it to one of the Mum's from school who has just lost her DH and had a little one aged 9.
Dustykitten - glad you got to the GP's - hope the antibiotics kick in soon - poor little thing he must be in real pain.
Michelle and Dustykitten - DD1 was OBSESSED with Barney and I won a competition on the TV to go and meet him and we went along and she had her photo taken with him. This was when she was 5 and she's 17 now - I look at the photo now and wonder where my little girl has gone - she is so difficult and agressive ATM.
I started early today and here is my list so far:
