  • Evening all. I'm in but as I didn't do anything upstairs (other than bathroom) this week I'm starting up there tomorrow.

May have DS3 off school as he has a very sore w*lly - any advise welcome. First I thought it had got sore from him moving up a bike (this one has a different shaped saddle) but it is all swollen and red - book says balanitis - anyone recommend anything. I've found a homeopathic remedey - should I take him to the GP?

Going to do some ironing - list later
eek! I'd take him to the GP!

I'm going to add washing to this list too. I'm sick of finding I need something tomorrow, late at night then having to use the dryer! I aim to get my washpile sorted and into some semblance of a routine (is that even possible with four kids? LOL)

Serena, that food looks great. We got an allotment a couple of months back, and we're working our way across it slowly digging out couch grass and all the roots.
We have potatoes, onions, green beans, herbs, tomatoes and courgettes so far. Just planted some perpetual spinach seed today so we'll see if that does anything. There were chuckles from the old hands at the perpetual spinach though. They said it'll take over the plot if I let it. Hey, I like spinach, but not quite that much!
Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

Don't throw away food challenge started 30/10/11 £4.45 wasted.

    Appointment for the GP!! ASAP!!!!

Does he retract the foreskin to wash under it?? (I do NOT need to know the answer!!) Maybe dad or a big sibling needs to show him how to do it properly.. Not doing this is often the cause of an outbreak.. if it becomes recurrent they will offer circumcision. Recurrent infection cause scar tissue under the foreskin and adhesions which mean more infections and soreness.

Been there.. done that.. had DS2 circumcised twice.. and it ain't pleasant the first time!

I'm in again. Got mum coming over from Spain on Friday for 10 days so need to keep on top of things.

    Busy week this week though

Mon - AM hosp apt with DD1
    Tue - AM hair apt
Wed - PM New starter Mtg for DD2
Thur - Need to check calendar - sure there is something
Fri - AM interview/PM country dancing at DD1 school & Mum arrives (am hoping it rains so we can collect mum from train station;) - means the dancing would be cancelled).

I need to stay motivated to ensure I get all the housework stuff done too. Need to start doing the HHE again too, may help tone my jelly belly up.

Am off to bed in a min as feel really tired.

Hugs for all the poorlies, gloomey feeling people and those just wanting one out there.

    Hi everyone

Count me in to do my best again this week. Last week fizzled out a bit, but I'm still pleased with what I got done. I even cleared out and swept the shed, the tall tool store and the short tool store, freecycled an un-needed ladder (we had 2), a roll of loft insulation (it's all done in both attics) and an un-needed footspa (we had 2 of those, as well). I've got a slowly filling black bag for the Charity shop -I've done my bit and DS is working his way through his drawers and wardrobe. I did 2.5 hours of ironing at stupid o'clock last night/this morning, as I had promised DD that I would collect her from a club in Bristol. And - we still got up and went to IKEA this morning, collecting the latest Foster Puppy on the way home.

Since we came home, I've got all my preparation done for tomorrow's session and taken loads of puppy pics for the charity.

Anyway, my list for the week is:

    Evening all,

Julie you are not the only one who went AWOL last week don't know where it went to but it just disappeared.

Kaz - My two arent ages with yours yet but from age 13 i had to drop my brother at school and we managed fine the thread of another relative having to do it seemed to work.

serena - very jealous of the booty from your plot I have lost my veggie patch and will probably be a couple of years before i get a new one I have planted toms, pots and cucumber in tubs so will see what happens. Any other veg for container growing you would recommend.

Pigpen - get your butt in your bath or I will, bathroom suite should be getting delivered this week and plumber coming out next weekend which means that we have a week of tiling in the evenings to get things ready.

List for tomorrow looks like -
