I'm shattered, my throat is hurting as I've just ended up croaking loudly at DD to get down the bed and go to sleep! I have a really untidy downstairs by my standards ATM and my mate might be coming around tomorrow to sort out my honeysuckle depending on what time he gets his backside out of bed so I'd rather it was tidy (Lead by example and all that ;):p ) or at least all the clothing and dishes away :o Don't know whether to set too now, or just go to bed and get up at 6am, pass on the bath and tackle things tomorrow morning instead....the latter is winning ATM. :o Supposed to be at the job center tomorrow morning for 9.15 - could prove interesting :rotfl::rotfl: Right - tidy up the desk while the computer shuts down, put the clothes on hangers and the maiden away and bung the dishes in to soak over night ;) I'm off to bed.

wondering why I couldn't have met someone lilke him 20 years ago instead of the philandering fireman who couldn't control his hose:rolleyes:

Sorry to here about the fireman but your discription is hilarious.

Electra good luck for tomorrow, I hope you don't get asked any stupid questions

Lil_me glad you had a good time in the caravan - my FiL is living in one at the moment - between rented properties and DS3 can't wait to go down and stay the night.

Growing veg in pots you can grow loads of veg in pots or guttering is fab for salad crops, let us know what you want to grow and somebody will tell you what is possible.

Ironing all done so bed for me now. Early but short exam to invigilate so should be back mid morning.

    • Cooked tea - felt like the last supper, we've never been apart this long before
    • Baked some special request flapjack types bars for OH to take that 'must contain, oats, crunchy nut cornflakes, allbran sultanas and honey' but done
    • Had a cuppa and natter with my best friend who came round for an hour
    And from the list

    Hi everyone

Well i got no flying done today and won't probly get much done tomorrow morning as DD2 is at pediatrics for her blood tests.

Dustykitten - thanks for the wishes, i appreciate it.

Unfortunately it's not good news. DH came home today in a stinking mood:eek: .

He went in as requested to be told that we have 28 days to sort out housing, employment, pack our stuff and leave:eek: . He got his ID card confiscated and they had already arranged his final medical:mad: . The BAR STEWARDS:mad:

Asked if we could be relocated back to scotland and get a surplus quarter as there are always loads in myhome town and was told we are not entitled to it:wall:. But they will send our furniture to storage and us to some centre in the Cotswolds where we can apply for our housing/employment from there. Bloomin good idea that - take someone who wants to go to the north of scotland and dump them in the south of england:confused:

When i questioned the army's logic, the walls came crashing down:wall: - no arguments not entitled to any help from them at all:mad: .

Well they are in for a blooming big shock. The formal complaint is going in tomorrow, i've emailed the service complaints commissioner again, and tomorrow am phoning my mp (he hasnt gotten back to me since my email), my mep, my msp, and whoever else i can think of. I just realised i can phone the first minister for scotland as well:confused: .

We are not taking this lying down, although DH is now applying for jobs online. Not one of them comes anywhere close to the wages he is on now but beggars cant be choosers.

I have the housing forms for the council and it covers the housing associations as well. Am going to fax it tomorrow morning. My dad has agreed to act as liaison between the council and us:D . Only problem is that if we have to register as homeless we have to do it in person which is impossible and will be impossible if we are stuck in the cotswolds:( .

(no offence meant to anyone living in that area - it is beautiful but its just not home for me:( )

So that's my rant over, i might just get loads done this week as we are packing everything we have but don't use and flinging anything we dont need any more.

Thanks for all your support through this:A - hopefully we will have a happy ending and get it all sorted for going home. It's a shame as my mum is worrying that she may be made redundant soon as well, shame their house just is not big enough for us all.

Anyhow, we are not giving up!

Off to bed, got lots to do tomorrow, as well as starting to pack and sort out all this army bull carp. See you all later xxx

    A few quick mentions . .
Dusty - How is your son doing? And thanks for the mention of my first client . . . I think it went really well :)
SuziQ - Wishing your OH good luck for his op - must be nerve wracking for you all
    germish - Well done!!
lil_me - Glad you had a good weekend
joanie - welcome - how did your first day go?
bonsibabe - what a load of carp you are having to deal with. Hugs to you - you WILL get through it.

Had a bit of a crazy morning. I'm at work (lunch time) and have had lots of family calls regarding MIL. It's her birthday today - she has made a Drs appointment and she wants me to go with her. She's not been well for about 10 weeks now and nobody can tell us the problem. It's starting to become a real worry.

Also have parent teacher meetings for DS3 this afternoon (DS4 has his tomorrow).

    Morning all

Denise - thanks for the hugs, sure needed it this morning

Have woken up not as hopeful as i was last night. But have to put a brave face on for the kids. Just wish the bloomin army would sit down and listen to what DH has to say but they are more interested in protecting the others as they are much higher ranked than DH.

It would seem that the old boys network is alive and well and kicking, even though the powers that be all say that it is no longer in existence.

Oh well, onwards and upwards, see you all later on xxx
