Morning all.
Well done all you new people on doing so well!
Lil-me - glad your trip went well. I was thinking of you!
Bonsib - so sorry about your news. 28 days? That's not very much time! I hope everything goes smoothly for you.
Hugs to everyone else who needs them.
Had a v. productive evening last night - managed to get one of the new cushions for the little settee 95% covered - just a little snagging (finishing off the corners) to do. Then I can do the second one. Also did two washing loads which went out on the line last night. I'm just hoping the showers they are forecasting for later today hold off until I get home from work.
But, I need to get dressed and go to work - have a good day ladiesI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning Ladies
Just popping by quickly to update. Yesterday I managed....................
To clean/clear all work surfaces
Clean cooker
Sweep floors (didnt get round to washing them so will do that later)
Put on two loads of washing
Iron (which is a biggy to me as until about 2 weeks ago I had an ironing lady!)
Not bad I suppose considering I left the house at 7.30 yesterday morning and it was 8 last night before I was home.
Actually finding this very helpful at the moment. Gives me time to think about how I divorce my family! Lol!!! All I can say is thank goodness for caller ID!!!
Anyway sending big hugs to all who need them and hope you all have a lovely day.

I was just putting the ironing away when DD2 came running in screaming - she had been playing in the shed (not allowed but...) and had upended a whole thing of cuprinol fence preserver all over her - she must have been messing because the lid was on tight and it was on the top shelf out of reach of little hands... There was red cedar fence stuff all through the kitchen and hall, all over her hair, her face and all over her new school dress, socks and shoes. I had to shower her off and just put all the clothes and towels into the washer with daz and vanish and am hoping for the best. I then had to clean all the floors again and go and repair the damage in the shed.
I'm sorry but that has made me :rotfl::rotfl:it's just the type of thing I am expecting W to do at some point! DH rubbed a lb of lard into the TV screen when he was tiny, the more his mum rubbed it to get it off the further it spread
I hope you managed to rescue the clothes and floors. Would be interesting telling the teacher why she is cedar red! I bet you were fuming with her but in time it will be one of those stories to tell her boyfriendsOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Huge hugs to bonsibabe how terrible that they can just dump you all back in the UK like that without giving a toss. I really hope that you rattle as many cages as possible and manage to get located in Scotland ASAP.
