    Morning everyone

Well, it's still evening for me as I haven't managed to get to bed yet :D I've just finished searching ebay to see what similar things are on there that I want to sell. Prior to that I spent my evening on my hands and knees in the kitchen, scrubbing the floor with a scourer to get it sparkling. Then I've thoroughly cleaned and polished my Silver Cross Coach built pram, cos that's one of the things I want to sell. I've even got a load of washing on, ready for drying first thing, although it will probably still be teaming down here tomorrow. :)

There's just me and DS2 tomorrow. I may go and see my mum - I need to go to the market butchers anyway and order my lamb, as he needs a couple of days to butcher it - and I still need a couple of days to sort my freezers out :D Other than that, at some point, as well as doing the usual household chores, I want to do some sanding of woodwork/filling of holes etc prior to starting some decorating. I'm going to start with the rooms that just need painting as they will be done quicker and I'll feel I've achieved something. Our bedroom needs the paper stripping and hopefully the plaster will be Ok just to paint (it's a newer extension) I'm still waiting for the plumber to come and sort out about adding a radiator/altering some pipework as well as servicing the boiler. He's very good, cheap but quite unreliable so I'll see him when I see him :D

OK, off to bed now - unless I have another hot choccy (and cointreau) and have another browse. :p

Have a good one and I hope none of you are awake at 4 to reply to this - GET SOME SLEEP!! ;)

Bah - so much for getting a decent night's sleep when I have the bed to myself. I blame you lot - your insomnia is contagious :D

Off for a cuppa and I surf. I refuse to do anything more at this time. I am SOOOO not a morning person :(
  • Morning TM & Everyone else.

Not a very good night-feel I have a head cold coming, was in bed by 8.30pm  very early for me. Hands are playing up this morning, so have me special sexy gloves on..lol.

Have 1 washload to do today. OH doing some bits round the house. DD has a story writing course to attend for which she dresses up as a character, so is going as violet from Lemony Snicket

Going to get some bacon out in a minute and have bacon butties for breakfast. Lunch will be cheese and ham toasties all round and dinner will probably be shepards pie & veg.

    :hello: Goooooooood Morning :D:D:D:D
    It's "smelly day" today :j :j

Last night I made some cinnamon and clove bags to decorate a swag for the kitchen - I've loosely tied them on so I can pick them off individually as and when I need them. (Great for scenting the house! Just pop one in some simmering water ... smells divine!). No one is going to notice the scent today though, because the bread machine is almost ready with Sultana and Cinnamon Loaf :D

Making 'smelly socks' for the wardrobes :D (A house can't have too many smelly socks :naughty:;):D

    Today's mealplan is:
    B: Porridge
    L: Carrot Soup (hm)
    D: Chicken Casserole

Fabric pumpkins almost complete, so I'll finish those off today :j
    Library later.
    Have a wonderful weekend

PP - it's probably a reaction to her shampoo, conditioner or anything else that she uses on her hair. Even if she is using the same stuff, if she's pre-pubescent, she may be getting sensitive to things. I have this problem if I use a different shampoo. I can only use Aveda as it has no SLE/SLES or other nasties in it. Also make sure she really rinses her hair well.

Until then, keep her hair of her face as much as you can.

  • Hi TM

Yes-she is at that lovely age  we use Aveda also or sometimes the odd Trevor Sorbie  her hair is washed everyday (she is partially sighted and needs help in the bath etc). I will get some clips for her or do a tiny plait on each side to hold it back.

    Thanks

    PP
