Spent the whole of yesterday doing Ebay photos. Then I took DD shopping in Asda/Aldi which I've discovered was a bad idea. I sat down last night to update money and discovered I hadn't put a £55 spend in Asda down
I have no idea how that happened but debt repayments for this month are no suspended and I have £12 plus PIN money to last me until the 27
:eek: Plus I haven't paid the electric bill yet as I thought that was going out with the gas money  Thats £34. Time to transfer funds from Paypal and use that money to pay the electric bill :mad::mad::mad::mad:

Hi everyone
Same as Queenie today, got lots of cleaning to do as I've had a lazy weekend on that front. Still it's been lovely and worth it.
I bought a yogurt maker on sunday from a car boot, I've been searcing them for ages, but it's been worth the wait, as the one i've found is fab. So today I shall put that on to make some more ( OH who didn't like yougurt woofed down 3 pots yesterday)
Tea tonight is homemade burgers and hopefully homemade burgerbuns as well if I get a shift on..lol:D
Just to reassure you PP I had to have a tooth pulled whilst on holiday. I was really scared, but i would do it again, as the releif since having it removed is wonderful. It was quick and easy and No one was more surprised than me, as I hate dentists with a passion:eek: . It was better than having my head removed which I was strongly considering as an option as the tooth ache was so bad:rolleyes:
well see you all later have a good day everyone and (((hugs))) to those in need0 -
Oh-er.
Registered for an Open University course this morning!!!! (OK, not OS, but hey!)
Working towards a Bsc in Pychology. And I am so looking forward to it! (I have to do something constructive with my time!)
Dinner today will consist of Beef in Apple and Cider in my Slow Cooker - will see how it goes and post on here later tonight if its nice!!!!
The 11 year old is off tomorrow on a school trip - and in traditional satyle, nothing she wants to take appears to be clean!!! So a bit of ironing, washing and todays bathroom cleaning!
Off to work soon - oh what fun!
Happy day everyone!0 -
PP - when I had my wisdom tooth out (I'm a scaredy-cat when it comes to Dental work too) it was such a relief to be pain-free and able to eat that, a bit like giving birth, I soon forgot any discomfort I may have experienced during the actual process.
The dentist was an absolute dream!!! I scrunched up my eyes and closed them as tight as I could ... he calmly said: "Open your eyes, you don't have to look at me, look at the ceiling; if you close your eyes, you'll imagine all sorts .... "
Pretty much by the time he'd said that, the 'wise ole toothy' was no more
Oh and it helped that, while I was laid waiting, I did a mental checklist of my shopping list - your brain can't focus on any potential pain if it's busy elsewhere~~~~~~I have all my washing out and dancing in the breeze :j
Whip round done :j
Need to jump in a bath shortly, just having a coffee and a nosey first. (I'll clean the bathroom when I get out of the bath)
Then, I need to wrap some of the gifts I've bought and squirrel those away~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Made it on a little earlier today
Went to tescos last night and bought some oaty style stuff for breakfast which OH made me, hopefully it should fill us up and it made me yet out of bed as I hae nothing in particular planned today - he went off to Uni and I've just been internet browsing and watching dodgy day time tele.
Need to have a sort out in our living room, do some washing up, put washing away and put some more on, lots of boring things like that to do today I'm afraid but our flats so small we need to keep on top of things.
Will pick OH up from Uni and am taking him down the outlet cos he wants some cheap coffee from whittards there. Hopefully he'll get his grant money today so he might even treat me to a cup of tea
Might try and get started with wedding invitations today, want to get a few trial ones done so parents etc can see what they like.
Off to make a cup of tea and finish my internet potter first I thinkInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Morning People,
Another lovely day here in the south east, sun is hining, aind is blowing, can get the bedding washed and dried today-fantastic.
Message to PP, having your tooth pulled is WELL WORTH IT. I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth all cut out at once, a bit worse than a pull cause they were cutting gum and jaw but it was GREAT afterwards. You will be soooooooooooooo relieved. Good luck.
Bad news for me today is that because our house sale fell through on friday I am have now officially lost the house that we were going to buy. Not OS at all as we have also lost the £510 paid out for survey and £399 paid out for new mortgage _pale_
!!!!!!.
So back to rightmove today to start the search all over again.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that someone will offer on ours before xmas so we can get the ball rolling before the new year.
Off to look on rightmove now,

Hello everyone,
Not very OS so far, but I'm hoping that'll change later..
Had to get up early and move my car first thing,as some workmen were due and I didn't want it boxed in/scratched, then had a boiled egg and brown toast to get me going with a cup of Earl Grey. It's a lovely day here in the south west too - that always helps to get me out of bed I find!
I've nearly finished my UCAS application for university next year - it's got to be submitted on line by Fri pm. It's almost completely due to MS OS that my DH and I have been able to reduce our outgoings and save money to enable me to go back to university as a mature student. Going to go to the little Tesco near me before lunch to get some veggies - I know it's more expensive than the market, but it often has lots of things reduced!
By the way, the last poster - when we put an offer in for our house about 2 years ago, we offered for it "subject to survey". We had a basic survey done for about £150, with the premise that we could pull out if we found major problems after completion. This also meant that we didn't have to spend £500+ on surveys for houses we might not get. This was in Scotland - don't know if you can do this in England?
