    Morning people :j

Wahoo ive got a breadmaker :T not a singing dancing panasonic but a morphy richards one and it was free from my boots advantage points £39.99.
So this morning i jumped out of bed when the alarm went, rare occasion as i usually have a couple of snoozes first.I measured all ingredients out exactly and placed them in the pot thing in the right order like the book said.Waited for the cycle to finish, hmmmm smells nice, argh no cooling tray so i popped it on a cheese grater :rotfl: ,after it cooled i cut it with my shiny new bread knife and what a disaster  the bread weight very heavy, the soft bread fell out of the middle and i was left with a rock hard crust hoop :rotfl:
Anyway i buttered it and ate it :D but unsure if it was nice or not

Squiggles....Its best to leave the new bread at least an hour before slicing so the middle is not so moist else it sticks to the knife blade.
We've been out this morning as OH is off with a cold so lessons are impossible.(he has the tv on or spectates which is very off putting).
Why is it men think they need pampering when they have a cold but women are just left to soldier on?
BM is only just finished as I forgot to do it last night.
Off downstairs now to make sandwiches with bread from freezer.
Yesterday I moved some redcurrant plants that had seeded/spread from next door, into my veg patch and also some raspberry plants that were behind the shed.Never know,we might have fruit in our garden next year other than blackberries.

Do you sometimes wake up in the morning and feel super-charged? Doesn't happen very often to me but this morning I definatley awoke from a 'power' sleep and Oh what a busy boy I've been since;)

Kidz dropped at school and Tesco shop done.

Yoghurt is yogging and the breadmaker is baking.

Washing done and dry waiting to be ironed.

    20 min whip round done.

and I've still had time to make three meals back to back.

Roasted vegetable macaroni cheese for tonight with HM garlic bread and a curry with rice and minced beef casserole to take to the coast this weekend.

Methinks I shall now go for a lie down in a darkened room with a damp flannel on me edd:D

I've just been cleaning up in my room (read decluttering ;) ) and I've found this Guess that explains why DD keeps getting sick. :o Can anyone give me some ideas:
    1) What might have caused it? Could it be caused by condensation with me drying clothes over the heaters? It is a gabelwall at that side of the room and we have a similar (but not to this extent) problem in all rooms along that wall.
    2) What can I do to get rid of the mould and prevent it coming back?

For the minute I'm going to have some lunch and then attack it with some anti-bac spray and some old cloths which I will then throw away. I guess I need to work on getting stuff away from the outside walls

    Hi NicKi,

My mum gets this problem at her house from time to time. It's made worse when the air in that area cant circulate, so moving stuff away from the walls is a good idea. It's usually worst in areas where there's water too, so for example under the window where there's condensation from the glass.

Only thing I can think of is to move the furniture, give it a scrub like you say, and try to thoroughly air the room.

Just found this - looks like it might be useful.

I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle

That looks like far too big a problem for vinegar and bicarb. I'd strongly advise you to post into the In My Home forum and ask there.

Just so you know, my house looked exactly like yours which is why I ended up having the plaster stripped off all the walls and having them injected. I hope it doesn't come to that for you!

    Nicki.............
FIL is a surveyor and says the rendering on the outside of houses can get cracks and water get inside causing mould.Same problem if you have that new rendering stuff sprayed on the outside.Bleach will kill the mould although you couldnt use it on a carpet .I wonder if the floor is mouldy underneath it.

I hope it doesn't come to that. We're in rented accomodation and our landlady is tight and thats coming from the workmen who she's sent out so I don't thin she'd be happy at having that sort of work done

I just bit the bullet and pulled some of the wallpaper up so I could see the wall. It appears clear behind so I think it might just be condensation. No more drying the clothes in the bedroom over the heater for me. Laundrette here I come!
