PS Forgot to say, I like going to the dentists. Does that make me mad or just a masochist ? :D:D

    Ooooh, that's a toughie. ... Er ... ..... Gosh! ....

    Kinky????

Question: Methought you were a female .... why (or what  ) are you putting your Dear Wife on?

*hands tickle a glass of wine to soothe her furrowed (masochistic) brow* ;)

Well, Mr TM does usually fill the DishWasher, so does that count as him doing his 'wifely' duty :D

However, being a man, he forgets his 'manly' duty, aka turning it on :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Gooooood Morning :hello:

(Or should that still be "Good Evening"? )

Getting a head start on the day .. ;)

Officially, it's my "day off" today, but, as sleep eludes me, I'm still chugging along

Actually, it's not a "bad" time to be about because teatime yet another pile of washing appeared ... methinks the neighbours have cottoned on to the fact that I've managed to get uptodate and decided that I can do them a charitable deed ... so that's soaking as I type and will shortly be going on a cycle to take advantage of the time of day/night. :D

The BM is all set and fired up on timer to produce something wonderful for the morning for packed lunches (Sultana and Cinnamon loaf  ) and I've also loaded the SC with some bones for stock (but, that's for freezing as I'm running low :o )

At some point during the 12th (not yet certain if that's pre or post slumber) I need to finish some applique work - I have some Autumnal cushion covers which I'm keen to finish and see displayed; I've got some great autumnal coloured bits of fabric which, originally were clothing, from charity shop bargains during the year which will look stunning (finger's X!)

One of my lads had an unpleasant incident at school today (oops, that's yesterday now) which left him feeling rather sorry for himself, so I've designed a special note on the computer to put in his lunchbox - hopefully it will bring a sparkle to his eyes tomorrow ;)

I made some Oatmeal mini soaps earlier and I've used an egg carton as a mould; because they are small they should be dried out and ready by Friday and then I can pack them off to the Church for their Bazaar.

I'm just going to whip up some "Everyday" Biscuits and then, hopefully, the phone call I'm waiting for will happen and I can grab an hour or two of shut eye :D

If I'm not about .. you'll know I've overslept or sleeping in; depending on your point of view ;)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and remember ...

.. OS isn't about going without, or deprivation .. it's about making the most of what you have ;) (Be that health, wealth, resources or even humour) :D

Your thread this morning helped me soo much-Im not feeling very well at all and it bought a smile to my face-thank you! Today is going to be a rough day for me, Im feeling very depressed/emotional & in alot of pain-so not a good combination. I awoke having several nightmares last night  Todays date is one that will be with me for the rest of my life and wish it would leave me alone just for one year. I dont want to divulve too much, but was a courtcase 11 years ago regarding family member and between myself, sister & cousin-he got put away for 15 years, but was released 4 years ago and the date just all brings back bad memories for me. Sorry I shouldnt go on about this as its not very OS is it..lol

Anyways, 1 load in WM ready to be put on at 6am, quick 20 min blitz but everywhere is clean and tidy :D

DD & DH are looking at the last school she wants to look at-Im not well enough to go today so am pretty gutted, but Im sure she'll tell me all about it later  I am blessed with such a great hubby and daughter.

Breakie is Baon rolls all round. Lunch is quiche, jacket and salad and tea is a lamb pie with mash and carrots & broc.

I hope you have a nice today-I may be on more than usual to keep busy as I cant move alot today. Wll keep topped up with strong pain killers and maybe something to settle me if needed.

    :hello: Morning All

Taking my mum and her friend out today for coffee - will get some winter pansies being sold at a rehab workshop, depending on what the weather's like later (pouring at the moment), I may plant them up.

Not even thought about dinner yet, no doubt get some tasty dish from the freezer ;) but then the rest of the family mught not agree that it's tasty!!:D

Lots of housework & ironing to catch up on today (oh joy:rolleyes: ) - seriously considering a steam generator as a pressie to myself.

    Hugs to you P-P

Off to have a cuppa now - bye

Good morning all. Not usually up this early, but DH has caught my bunged-up-ness and has kept me awake snoring - even though he was sentenced to sleeping on the settee at 2.30 this morning I could still hear him from upstairs!
P-P my thoughts are with you today.
Have just put a 4 hour loaf in BM so got a lovely lunch to look forward to. Will be going to Makro with DH this morning for a quick scoot around for Christmas ideas, then home again to make pastry for cornish pasties for tea. Made pasties yesterday but ran out of pastry before I ran out of filling! Then off to work at 5.30pm for a rest;)
Hope you all have a good day.

My word everyone is up early today! Ive still got my cold but am recovering slowly but surely, im only up this early this morning because pain in the neck boyf hasnt had time to go to the post office and pick up my parcel yet - so I intend to do it in a min, then get ready for work as usual!

Aside from that - having a pretty boring week - I cant wait for the weekend as im not working saturday - I forgot how much working people value the weekend as evenings just dont leave any time to do anything of note....

Oh well, have a lovely day all

    Morning all!!:hello: :hello:

Just in process of getting organised for the school run. DS2 is dressed & ready (although he's not at school/nursery today.) DS1 is still fast asleep!!!! Need to wake him up in a minute!

Day off today, meeting up with friend & her son at kids indoor play area (indoor because its a MISERABLE day!!!:( )

Washing machine currently on a 95 degree cycle because it smells rather unpleasant! Hopefully that should clear it, I hope so as I've got about 3 loads that need doing!!!

Cottage pie for tea tonight I think!

    Have a good day everyone!!!!!
