Morning all.
Feel rough this morning slightly bungded up, but I have a rotten tummy and its sore. I am seriously debating whether or not to show my face at work - but its the old story of others not being able to do my job properly, so it will all be backed up.
DD2 is off with a school trip this morning! I am so excited! 1 down, more to go! Its only for a few days and she will be back on Friday, but somewhat peace and quiet - DD1 wont have anyone to argue with and I'm hoping the time is too short for her to work something else out!
Littlest DD's are watching Noddy quite happily! For abut 2 more mins - then its get dressed time.
As I have a sore tum, I am not thinking of dinner today, so I may treat the kids to some processed sausages with not so processed Mash - easy 10 min job.
Am debating whether to buy a breadmaker or new food processer with my Boots points - I dont quite have enough for both!0 -
Morning everyone,
I'm at work at the moment so just popping on quickly to have a read of the threads.
Will be having a busy day today, as going to OHs mum and dads for tea straight after work, then to the vets with our youngest cat for her 5 month check and to arrange for her to be neutered - free because she was from the RSPCA. Then going to the gym as since I've got back from my holiday I just can't get into a routine of going again.
PP - hope today goes ok and don't worry about talking about it - I'm sure people don't mind at all.
Queenie - could you possibly point me to the recipe for everyday biscuits? I've heard them mentioned a few times on this site
Chardonnay - hope the insurance goes ok and don't blame yourself, I've had a similar situation myself and there's nothing you can really do about it, there'll always be some scum who go around taking other people's things

Didn't quite get the lay in that I'd hoped for ... my furbaby decided it was playtime and chose my toes to play with! But, "every cloud has a silver lining" - so they say and ... I came across a webpage where you can 'design' and print off your own pumpkin stencils (free! :j ) I've had quite a chuckle playing around with it
As for the printing .. well, that's the junk mail made into something useful too
It's now all damp and yucky outside, so the washing will be hung in the bathroom until such time as the sun decides to shine.

Morning early birds :hello:
I almost followed up your post last night Queenie before going to bed but I get confused enough not knowing which day it is so thought I'd wait till I'd had some sleep
I haven't posted properly in this thread for a while as to be honest it'd feel a bit like groundhog day as nothing seems to change from one day to the next
I need to have a bit of a gripe this morning though, sorry, before the steam that's coming out of my ears makes my head explode
Just got a letter from the housing office, written by a different housing officer to the one dealing with my case, and it's obvious she hasn't read my file and has just picked on one part of a form that was sent in as an update a month ago with details about my son moving in when he gets out of hospital. Now all this has already been dealt with but she is now asking for confirmation again and hasn't even acknowledged that I already have one of my sons living with me and is querying why I'm on the list for a 3 bed property when she reckons I'm only entitled to one bedroom!!!
I've just called the office and surprise surprise she's away on a training course today, and no one else can help me find out what's going! If she's mucked everything up and lost me my place on the list (I was 4th last week) then I'm going to go absolutely ballistic
Sorry about that, but I just needed to get that off my chest as I've got no one else to talk to about it right now
This has totally thrown me off balance and I'm so stressed I can't even think about what I'm supposed to be doing today. I need to start writing things down and making lists so I have something to guide me otherwise I find myself just going round in circles and achieving nothing
I think more :coffee: is in order first and a few deep breaths"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

It is that what you do, good or bad,
will come back to you three times as strong!

Quiet start to the day - about to make fruit cake in BM as my DD says it is "yummy" - tried fruit loaf yesterday but they are not as keen on that although I think it is lovely.
Home made chicken curry just need warming up for tea and did a load of ironing yesterday so the mountain is a little smaller.
DoubleSink is full of bleach soluion as it is white and looks grotty really quickly.

Hello
I'm feeling all bright-eyed and bushy tailed at the moment - for no particular reason. However, I didn't have to do the school run so still sat here in my jimjams
Have some mystery shopping jobs to do today, after I've taken DS2 to pre-school this afternoon, so that's petrol paid for me to go into townMay have a mooch for some Xmas pressies while I'm in town.
Need to do some washing today and sort the clean clothes out - couldn't find DS1's clean sweatshirt this morning so he had to go in his old, little one. Dunno where they've all got toAlso need to sort the fridge out - lots of veggies in there so may make lots of soups etc and freeze them. Have some of CQ's base sauce needs using and the last bits of my chicken, so I feel the need for a curry coming on (again, for freezer) Tea will be jacket spuds with assorted toppings, I think. Haven't had them in ages.
Now, I'm sure there was something important I HAD to do today, but I'll be blessed if I can think of it. Oh, well, will probably remember far too late
Have a good day and (((hugs))) to all who need them

There has to be someone?
I'd just keep asking for the next level up or whatever until I got someone who could straighten this out.
