My local Asda have just started deliveries. Can't say I'm overly impressed by the website yet - maybe it takes time to get used to it. Anyway I did a recent shop in person and shan't need anything much for a while, and will probably do a small tester shop first. I'll need some codes too I reckon.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. i can imagine... ive seen them in the morning doing the orders ........
(they start collecting at 6am while im trying to finish my job.. they are the bane of my life!!  Between bumping into me with their trollies - im 5 ft 6 ...not 5 inches how can they "not see me there"!!! or constantly getting in my way when im trying to get the aisle finished by 7am deadline.. Excuse me i have a job to do toooo!!!! OR biggest thing of all....messing up my display/facing ive just literally spent an hour doing!!  OOPs sorry - mini rant there!):rotfl:
They do use too many bags though... ive seen them put 2 tins in a bag then another one for 2 more tins of the same stuff etc. Really silly. Why cant they give dot com customers bags for life? OR invent special HUGE iceland type sacks for non-breakables... OR use carboard boxes for dotcom deliveries - instead of the bags.. then they can just hand the boxes to the customer.. no faffing taking them out the plastic boxes etc. :rolleyes:0 -
Well of to bed soon after an evening on the wine,
moneysaving of course
asda offering 3 bottles for £10 (and good makes too) plus their usual 10% off 6 bottles, so 6 bottles cost me £16 as the deduct the 10% from the full amount
BIG CONGRATS to arkonite_babe and Pink-winged the new Old Style board guides

Finished sanding my walls tonight, had some cider as a thirst quencher, then some more as a celebration!! Cooking C-Q's Korma curry tomorrow for tea, so all ingredients sitting in fridge ready to go. Dog walking later, he needs the exercise (so do I!!) maybe a bit more decorating prep and not much else tomorrow. Have a good day all!0

Morning
Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATH
Had a very bad night and have woken with the worst headache ever!
Going to visit my sister today (about 1hr away) so nothing being done in the home, but is all done anyway..lol. My folks will turn up later bearing gifts I expect as theyve just returned from yet another holiday  Sister does a small buffet of sarnies, crisps, sausage rolls for lunch, then is cooking a huge Beef roast with HM yorkies. Her OH always cooks the beef and is always over cooked-its a shame that a nice piece of beef turns into leather  so im taking a chicken breast with me (also coz my tummy doesnt settle too good with beef ATM)I am now the poor relative (always been the other way round) so I dare say my sis has sorted some more designer clothes for me that she doesnt like anymore
I love it and she likes helping me as ive always been there for her. I sound ungrateful but YKWIM..lol. They have bought DD some pressies and dad has given her a new computer desk that he dont like now and a proper swirling chair for her room
my mum has given me her oldish pressing iron-the one that you pull down, shes only had it a few months and dad bought her another. Was thinking of getting one anyway but they cost over £200, but now have one free. I must remember to take the 2 books shes asked to borrow plus the cheesecake
Having a cooked breakfast about 7.30 (leaving at 8.15) with egg, bacon, hash brown, sausage, beans, fresh tomatoe (home grown) half fried slice (maybe) and toast. I can then take my tablets and pain killers before travelling as its going to kill me.
Anyways, cant think of anything else but will update if there is.
Have a great sunday.
