Hi everyone
1.I have connected to vodaphone 3gb mobile package. The connection has been great but does anyone know if playing poker on-line will run away with my usage. I haven't been able to connect yet as there is a restriction which needs to be lifted by going into the store(thats another story).
2. I had orange broadband(awful service)and had no connection for 5 months, so was paying for dial up(big mistake) so eventually was cut off my BT line as the bill was £550. Can i get a landline from some other provider so i can get unlimited usage broadband, any help will do.
Thanks AllenForums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.0 -
what about cable?I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0

As you are already with Vodafone, have you looked at Vodafone at Home - unlimited, but subject to a fair usage policy. Will cost you £25 per month including line rental and you'll get free calls at all times to 01 and 02 numbers."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0

Thanks Sue, Hungerdunger
I am not in a cable area and i enquired about the vodaphone broadband and you need an active line.
I have contacted Orange and if i send my itemised bill they will look into seeing what help they can give me, looks promising as they rang me on my mobile and said they were refunding £60 back into my account and despite not paying phone bills for customers, as i feel they have added to my woes regarding not giving me the service i signed up for they would look into what help they can give me.
They also gave me the next two months free(useless without my BT line) as i told them i want to stay with orange when my line is re-activated.Forums can be/are a good guide to entitlement and it is good practice to back it up with clarification from the relevant department/specialist with written confirmation to safeguard yourself.0 -
Hello all,
I signed up from Vodafone Mobile broadband BEFORE they lowered the cost to £15 p/m so I got it at £25 p/m
Anyway my first bill was quite high because they charged for the current month plus a month in advance. When I received my next bill I was quite upset, turns out its £25 p/m PLUS VAT so works out at £29 and a few pence.
So rather than £25 per month I'm paying £30. Is that right? I'm signed into an 18 month contract so I'm aware that I can't do anything about the montly price I signed up to, its just that I wasn't aware that it was £25 plus VAT!! Any advice??0 -
According to Vodafone's T&Cs:All prices include VAT, which will be charged where applicable, unless otherwise stated."The trouble with quotations on the Internet is that you never know whether they are genuine" - Charles Dickens0

So I need to dig out the contract and then give them a call. She did say it would be £25 a month when I signed up.0

Hello Hopefulllyusefulone,
I was interested to spot your message - are you from Vodafone then?
I have a few questions which it would be great to get some help on.
I'd really only like to commit to 12 months to start with but your 12 month deal for ordinary customers only gives the old style dongle (as far as I understand it!).
If I order for business 12m that shows a picture of the new stick?
Is there any way to get the new stick on the 12m deal as a customer rather than a business?
Or what do you need to satisfy to order as a business and do you then get charged VAT on top?
Is there a big diff. between the two style sticks anyway?
What would be really nice is if you could tell us all when the next deal is on - I missed out on the recent one with 3m free;) .
