Uswitch Gas & Elec wine switching offer: Are you having problems?

A warning to anyone wishing to switch energy suppliers, should you value any hard earned penny, please stay away from E.ON. As a pre-paid customer, i have only been with E.ON for 6 weeks. In the 6 weeks, E.ON have taken more than £210 in electricity top up for a one bedroomed flat with just one occupier. I have spent countless hours on the phone refuting this and trying to get them to explain how that is possible when i am hardly ever in my flat being a full time university student.

Clearly, the meter must be faulty but they refuse to get an engineer to come and look at it. This amount is extortionate and worse yet having to be put on hold for over 30 mins before i get any help/ or NONE for that matter from E.On Customer services. I am now switching to EDF Energy as any other energy supplier must be much better and more helpful than them.

Can i also add here very importantly that between 6pm last night and 9 am this morning, E.ON claim that i am £18.20 in DEBT. So in the time that i have been in my flat between 6pm on a sunday and 9am on a Monday morning i have used up £18.20 worth of electricity. Does this sound normal????

PLEASE AVOID E.ON!!!!!!! You will be saving yourself a lot of time and money not to mention High Blood Pressure!!!

i emailed via the link in a previous post to see what had happened to my wine , i did that on Friday last week a voucher was emailed to me Monday:D and i ordered straight away and the wine arrived last night [wed]:j .thank you for a speedy resolution.

I'm looking to use USwitch to move - haven't used you before.

I went through Quidco which says there is £22 cashback for switching via USwitch.

Your site recommends nPower Go Fix 8 with the £100 Love2Shop voucher deal. Please can you tell me if I would receive both the Quidco cashback and the £100 vouchers or just one or the other?

Also there is a note saying you're not liable for loss of the vouchers in the post etc which worries me - are they sent special delivery and have you had many instances of loss etc?

Switched in July via MSE link, took up dual fuel, made sure confirmation was sent to Uswitch, emailed them several times, still no wine code or voucher. I'm a first time home buyer and feel like I've fell for a right scam with this one!
