I switched from british gas to edf a couple of months ago via uswitch, taking up the £40 offer. As of yet I have had no code or voucher.
what do I do now?0 -

I had to wait about 4 months to get my code. I switched in June and didn't get my voucher code until November. You can try emailing them at customerservices@uswitch.com to check.0 -
Fuzzy-Bear wrote: »Received my voucher code today, went on virgin wine website and got an error message stating "this code has already been redeemed"!.....so far no reply from either virgin or uswitch, and im guessing i can kiss my so called free case of wine good bye!
Save yourself a load of grief and switch direct instead!
Turns out the way to sort any problems out is to totally ignore uswitch and deal with virgin wines directly!...dont use the website to order use the telephone number, after uswitch ignored my requests for help i phoned virgin and spoke to a lovely young woman, who clearly deals with alot of uswitch !!!! ups!...she sorted it all out for me and even upgraded the delivery to priority next day!....24 hours later I got a fantastic case of wine with no further !!!! ups!........
so the moral is.......
If youve already switched deal with virgin not uswitch...and if you havnt switched.....do it with anyone other than uswitch!!!!!0 -
abigailflo wrote: »I switched suppliers and received code for £60.00 for free case of wine. I have logged into Virgin wines and tried to use the code and it keeps saying the code can only be used on a minimum order case of £109.00 so therefore cannot use it and not free. Seems to be a total con to me!
try using the phone number instead of the website!....the virgin wines staff are very helpful and you will end up with your free case of wine with no delivery charge!0 -
Hiya,
In some cases, the free wine vouchers can take up to four months to arrive so if it's been one or two, they should be on their way.
If it has already been this long or you have any further questions about your switch, send us an email on customerservices@uswitch.com and we'll chase it up for you!
Hope this helps:)

Well i just switched via the mse uswitch link wine offer and on the page it stated it was for the free case of wine and in the header at uswitch it stated free-wine-offer/ at the end of the address so fingers crossed its all will have worked ok :0)
I switched to edf on the dual fuel being careful to untick the boxes so i don't have my info shared with other companies :0) so not expecting any nuisance calls.
I did notice at the bottom of the terms and conditions it states that the wine offer is only valid if its still available.......... errrr can someone confirm from uswitch is it still available? so i know whether to cancel.
I chose the wine offer as to be honest although quidco and topcashback offer cashback if you read the reviews noone ever seems to actually get the money. I'd rather the switch went through as i have been wasteing money on my old supplier for years but i'd rather know if the wine offer has run out so i have a choice re canceling?
The only thing that slightly tripped me up is it asked if i wanted paper billing or email...i'd rather have paper but didn't know if this was extra so chose email instead.
Fingers crossed it all goes swimmingly do we know how long it takes till i should recieve the voucher via email?

Hi Maya
glad someone from uswitch is answering.... should i have reiceved my code by now having switched on 11th July this year?0 -
Why is everything so complicated !!!
My switch with Uswitch has been nothing but a pain in the *ss from start to finish. I'm not saying it's all Uswitches fault, far from it, but the whole process is a complete nightmare of a shambles.
Firstly the constant telephone calls I've had to make to BG and EDF to get either one, or both, to take some sort of responsibility for transferring the business. BG trying to charge cancellation fees when they shouldn't, EDF not responding to anything quite frankly, BG then taking out more Direct Debits and then giving me the runaround and not refunding an account in credit.
And now, to add insult to injury, I have to start the whole telephone ping-pong thing again between Uswitch, who are more Use-less and Virgin Wines who, to be fair, are trying their best and helpful.
Email sent to the address above and the one in the original post. Fingers crossed !0 -
Hello Deebee,
Thank you for the welcome! I'm afraid Lauren has moved on to the uSwitch sister company uSwitchforbusiness, so I'll be helping out our customers on these forums from now on.
I am aware that there have been considerable problems with the Virgin wine vouchers, unfortunately not all within our control. We really appreciate the patience and I will try and have everyone's delayed vouchers looked into and resolved!
You can email me on editor@uswitch.com, or contact our customer service team directly on customerservice@uswitch.com if you have any queries or questions or would just like some help or advice on anything.
Kind regards,

Hi Tippytoes,
I'm sorry to hear this. There should not be any delivery charge on our free wines offer whatsoever. If you find you are being charged, please call Virgin Wines a call on 0843 224 1001 and they will process the order over the phone without it.
Thank you,
