    Hi zandner,

Sorry to hear you haven't received the vouchers after your switch. Please can you email me the details of the switch on editor@uswitch.com and I'll look into it for you today.

I'm afraid that there were some problems with some vouchers that weren't sent out properly so we can re-send you one as soon as we have your switch details. We'd hate to disappoint our customers - we much prefer them happy! :)

    Kind regards,
    Maya

  • Tartanmax,

The link uSwitch send out is incorrect. Rather than click the link, copy and paste it directly into your browser. (Only discovered thanks to this forum!)

However, I am still having an issue. Having entered the valid code and found a crate of wine within the parameters of their offer, £6.99 is still added for delivery at the checkout. This is despite the uSwitch offer stating "Virgin Wines will arrange for the free delivery of your wine to your designated address within the next week"

Great deal to switch for but very frustrating to get the deal promised!

did the very same and yip, I too have been charged £6.99 delivery:mad:

    despite this:

    "uSwitch 12 Bottle Mixed Case

It's not often you can use a voucher to claim a FREE case of top quality boutique wines, but that is exactly what we have got here. You literally won't pay a penny, because we have the delivery charge covered too, so all your time can be spent getting to know how delicious our wines are!"
  • come on uswitch and Virgin wines........... sort it out please

    Hi,

As some of you have unfortunately experienced, we're having some problems with the last batch of wine voucher emails we sent out. Thanks for drawing our attention to it - we're working on putting things right.

The wine and the delivery is free, the offer hasn't changed and we aren't trying to wriggle out of giving you your wine, I promise!

To get the right landing page, you need to do as Laughingcry suggests and copy and paste the link from the email (http://www.virginwines.co.uk/usfree) into your browser, rather than clicking on it.

If you then find that there is a delivery charge added, or there aren't cases of wine for £60, please get in touch with Virgin Wines on 0843 224 1001 or give us a call so we can point you in the right direction.

Garrygarry, if you've already paid for delivery please get in touch and we will refund you the cost of the postage.

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

    Thanks

    Lauren

    Hi garrygarry and laughingcry,

Quick addition to my earlier post, we've been in touch with Virgin Wines (0843 224 1001) and if you call them, they will refund the delivery charge back to your credit/debit card.

most people on here seem to have had their switch completed and got no wine, I am the opposite - I applied to change to Scottish Power via u-switch in May, and despite a phone call to them and being assured it was all going ahead, I was then later to contact Scottish Power - who had received no information from u-switch after some three and a half months! despite various e-mails they have been totally inept in completing a switch, my last e-mail from them apologised, provided no tangible excuse or resolution and instead offered me a voucher for case of wine!!! - thanks, but no thanks, I wanted them to provide they service they undertook to provide, if I wanted wine I would go to a wine supplier! - and a little presumptuous on their part that I am not a recovering alcoholic!

This company is an absolute shambles, this is elf-evident from the posts on here; they have not even had the courtesy to respond to my last e-mail, I would recommend avoiding at all costs - be warned!
