  • Hi I have switched using "uswitch" and voucher has been sent with wine offer "free 12 bottle case",
    Below 5 points what "uswitch" offer and advise:
    1. Go to virginewines.com
    2. Browse the wine cases on offer and select the one you want. With this voucher you can either chose from the free 12 bottle case, or one of the premium 6 bottle packs delivered free to your door. OR for a few pounds more you can put the voucher towards bottles of champagne, 12 premium bottles of wine or even our deluxe 12 bottle case worth £119! Add to your basket and then click ‘Go to checkout’
    3. Please provide the details Virgin Wines request, especially delivery address. You will be asked to enter your credit OR bank card details – don't worry, you won't be a charged a thing; it's required so we know you are over 18
    4. Enter YOUR unique voucher code and password provided below:
    5. Click on ‘Buy now’ to complete your orde"

    Well , I have tried many times to use voucher on virgin website..... and it always ask You to pay the difference as voucher gives only £60 !
    I can't understand why uswitch tells that case of 12 bottles is for free!!?? I have spent some time to browse virgin website and use different options, cases etc.... I found that "back to basic 12 bottle case is worth to select but what is the point if have to pay about £30 to get "free case of wine"? there is no other option to select for 12 bottle case worth up to £60 and You can't choose less than 12 bottles!!! I give up and will never probably use this voucher and "uswitch" again..

    thought people need to know that...

  • I have had the same issue as Martin above, and I am quite confused, the email specifically mentions "the free 12 bottle case" but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the Virgin Wines website. It mentions being able to spend more to get better wines but I do not want this - I want the completely free wine.

    I have read the email I received many times (same one Martin received) and nowhere does it mention it just being a discount voucher, it specifically mentions an option for completely free wine.

    Any assistance here from any representatives would be appreciated, I'm still at the point where I believe I'm just unable to find the wine on the website - but I'm edging towards believing this is all just one big scam to get me to buy wine I'd have not otherwise bought.

  • Ah, it seems I have figured it out. The link given in the email is invalid.

    I can't post links as a new user but the email gives a virginwines .com/usfree address, where you need to instead use .co.uk/usfree
