Yes I used the link from this site.
My qualm is it isn't a discount voucher; you can only use it with the one company who are charging inflated prices so as I said in my other post, even including the fuel it would be cheaper to drive to Tesco’s and buy wine there rather than trying to use this voucher. My parents are also on the brink of swapping suppliers.
It was just electricity I swapped as would be my parents.

Hi Perfo,

The reason you didn't get the free wine voucher was because you only switched electricity - only people who switch to a dual fuel tariff are eligible for the free wine voucher.

Hello Lauren, I think you're missing the point. I knew I wouldn't get the free wine voucher and didn't ask for one. I expected the £60 discount voucher, which I received. The problem is this voucher is in my opinion a con as you'll end up spending more cash using the voucher than you would have spent not getting it and going to any normal shop. I was therefore a little surprised that a reputable company such as yourselves would have had anything to do with a smoke and mirror type enticement like this. It would be a more honest approach to state if you are only switching a single fuel you wont get any vouchers at least then the customer can make an informed choice rather than finding out the voucher is less than useless after the fact.

No problem on the misunderstanding. You are a reputable company that I and others I know have used many times and the fact you are willing to come on here and discuss issues is a credit to that. I hope your team can see that offers like this may generate business (from the gullible few) for the end company but is more likely to reflect badly on you. Hi there,
Can anyone advise, just switch to a duel fuel with scottish power on u-switch via the link on here, but all through the process there was no mention of a free case of wine! Just woundering if this is the norm and I have nothing to worry about or whether something has gone wrong. No confirmation emails whatsoever at the moment. Thought I'd ask this whilst I'm still within the 7 day cooling off period.

I have signed up twice now to switch with uswitch dual fuel through MSE link to be eligible for wine offer. Twice because the first time, despite an email confirmation, my new suppliers had no record. Exactly the same has happened again. Uswitch have ignored all my several emails asking for a progress report. I phoned yesterday and spoke to Ade Bisi who told me the switch could only be checked by going through my new supplier. According to EDF this is simply not true. I have just sent a final ultimatum to Uswitch but am not holding my breath and seriously researching another switch company. Be nice if Uswitch could find time to reply!
