I used the e,mail address customerservices@uswitch.com, and like I said, they replied the next day.
I also received my £50 cashback yesterday, a week earlier than they said.
In addition to previous posts, I have today received my Virgin wine code, and ordered succesfully.
This whole process has gone as smooth as possible, can't rate it highly enough.:beer:0 -
I was going to do this but might hold back now if people having problems with the voucher. Still want to change supplier though as I'm sure we could get cheaper.0

Ive also had no problems, received the voucher via email and ordered the wine.
It arrived 2 days later!0 -
I signed up on 1st September and to my amazement yesterday received the voucher code; I'd been expecting to wait for months. I've just tried to redeem it and been told it's already been claimed, so have emailed Uswitch and am waiting to hear back.
There was no word from Uswitch about the cashback they also promised; has anyone any idea how long this usually takes? Thanks in advance for any guidance.0 -
Wine received yesterday - the whole process is now complete and was absolutely problem free. Thanks to everyone involved. :T0

Hi Ruffles,
It can take up to 12 weeks from the date when you start to get your energy from your new supplier to get your cashback. (This is not the date when you switched on the uSwitch website, but the day when you actually start getting your gas and electricity from your new supplier.)
If you opted to pay for your gas and electricity by Direct Debit, then we will pay your cashback straight into your bank account, if not, we'll send you cheque.
If you've got any more questions, please feel free to drop me a line at the email address in my profile

Hi Lauren,
Thank you so much for your detailed response to my query - I really appreciate it.0 -
I don't mean to clog up the board with my posts, but wanted to let people know that although there was no response to either of the emails I sent to uswitch, when I phoned them to explain the situation I received a different code within four hours. It worked perfectly, and the wine arrived two working days later.0

I signed up to Scottish Power online deal on 17th November 2010 via USwitch for dual fuel. It said the price was guranteed for one year till october 2011. As far as im concerned although it takes a while for everything to be done i entered into a contract with them from that date and signed up for the available offer. Ive just received an email from them saying the price went up on 25th November by 8.9%. No one told me till now and there was no mention of it going up on the online deal i signed up for. " Under the Online Energy Saver 11 Offer, your prices are guaranteed to remain below ScottishPower's standard monthly Direct Debit gas and electricity prices until 31st October 2011."
Whats the legal position here Martin ?0 -

If so, they appear to be conforming to contract."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
