House prices are correcting back to normal levels now. Why shouldn't people who have seen this coming warn others potentially saving them tens of thousands of pounds and misery.
Its the right thing to do morally. Why do you want people to suffer? Whats your motive?
If someone asks you for the quickest route to place A you would warn them if you knew the dark ally way was full of gang members and there is a different route. It is no different warning first time buyers.
I reserve the right to warn these ftb to help them make a more informed and balanced decision.
Agreed. James Ferguson (an economist at Pali International) said in October 2007:I would advise a buy-to-let investor to sell his entire portfolio. And anyone who advises a buy-to-let investor to buy right now, should, I think, be legally sueable – because to do so is irrespon!sible.0 -

Would you not agree that someone posting on one of the house prices/buying boards would have read at least ONE post about house prices falling? As the poster above said who doesnt know that house prices are falling? Why do so many posters feel the need to start half their posts with this sentence?
Understandably if someone starts a thread saying "Should I buy now?" then exercise your right to 'warn' them / give your personal opinion. But if they havent asked then I personally think its safe to say they've read or heard it somewhere else in the past 5 months...I think people can exercise a bit of discretion with the "rent for 6 months" post. Its not always necessary, helpful or relevant to the original post.January 2014 - £20,3400 -

It's nothing to do with falling prices, in fact i doubt anyone gives a hoot, massive gains, massive falls, who gives a toss. It's just the way you operate you are very unlikable and that is that, nothing to do with the current economic climate.
Well I for one rather like carolt !!!!0 -

Random: I love the word "idiot" when it's used online. Seeing it in the written form always makes me giggle. It's such an odd sounding little word.0
