Does anyone have experience with them?
They offer the following:
TalkCover Apple iPhone 3G insurance policies include:- Theft, both attended and unattended from secure vehicle or premises.
- Loss
- Accidental damage
- Fraudulent Call Cover
- Water damage
- Brand new replacement phone
- 12 months for the price of 9 on an annual policy
- No minimum term contract
- 60 days international cover
- Extended warranty up to 5 years
- Guaranteed replacement within 48hrs of claim

I looked on this site for cheap mobile insurance and found one called CUSC foneguard. From reading their website throught the link from Money Saving Expert, they seemed the perfect choice, cover for - Breakdown, Damage, Stolen, Water damage, Loss, Unauthorised calls. If only. Well after trying to claim for repairs to my phone, I soon relised that actually, I was not covered for as much as the website states. For instance Loss of phone isn't cover Nor theft if the phone was on show, bearing in mind their website has a phone on show in a car being stolen, and in my case if you do want to claim you have to do so within 48 hours of thr incident otherwise your claim is void, just like in my case. 48 hours to claim when you don't have a phone. genius!! I think it would be a good idea to remove their link from this site, the company is a con! Rant over ha, anyone else had this sort of problem? Regards Joff.0

My iPhone 3G needs repair and will be out of action for between 2 and 4 weeks. I took out Carphone Warehouse Lifeline Insurance (no longer available) as I was told I would get a replacement if it was out of action. Today, Friday, the 13th day of the 13th month of my contract I have need of that replacement (the silence switch has broken off - not ideal when you attend many meetings). Carphone Warehouse have provided me with a 'loan phone', a cheap and nasty Nokia 1661 (I think). So I have temporarily lost all my contacts, all my appointments and all my apps and of course the iPhone is not like any other where you can copy contact data to the sim. I have complained to Lifeline, I have checked Geek Squad and I have contacted CUSC, they are all they same - rip off merchants with a get out clause for every situation - unless any of you know better. BUT BE WARNED - ASK ALL THE RELEVANT QUESTIONS before you sign on the bottom line. Its true what they say 'You only find out how good your insurance company is when you make a claim'.0

Any feedback on Insurances?0 -
Hi I am currently with CUSC and put a claim in when my 16 year old dropped his phone and couldnt get a signal.CUSC sent me a claim form to fill in and asked me to send the phone by special delivery (£5.45) plus pay an excess of (£50).Two weeks later i still hadnt heard from them so I got in touch only to find they had decided it needed replacing , so two weeks wasted without a phone.0
